Randomized Controlled Trial
Ultrasound-guided injection acupotomy as a minimally invasive intervention therapy for cervical spondylotic radiculopathy: a randomized control trial.
To explore the efficacy and safety of ultrasound-guided injection acupotomy as a minimally invasive intervention treatment of cervical spondylotic radiculopathy (CSR). ⋯ Ultrasound-guided injection acupotomy minimally invasive interventional treatment of CSR has no significant difference in short-term curative effect compared with ultrasound-guided SNRB, but the data indicators are significantly better than the latter at 6 months after the end of the course of treatment, showing better long-term efficacy.

Multicenter Study
Characteristic analysis of early gastric cancer after Helicobacter pylori eradication: a multicenter retrospective propensity score-matched study.
Helicobacter pylori (H. pylori) is recognized as a type I carcinogen in gastric cancer (GC). However, GC still occurs after H. pylori eradication, and its diagnosis is more complicated. This study aimed to summarize the characteristics of early GC (EGC) after H. pylori eradication to help accurately identify EGC and avoid missed diagnosis and misdiagnosis. ⋯ Our multicenter study revealed that EGC after H. pylori eradication was characterized by long-term PPI use, moderate mucosal atrophy, mucosal map-like redness, the mild activity of gastric mucosa, a higher proportion of HGIN cases, and lower levels of Ki-67.

Children's Vitamin D (VitD) fortification and supplementation are diminishing due to less outdoor exercise and insufficient VitD intake (low exogenous intake and endogenous malabsorption induced by gastrointestinal disease). Consequently, children in many developed countries suffer from VitD deficiency, which may contribute to many paediatric disorders. Our review briefly introduced the metabolic process of VitD, summarized the role of VitD in paediatric diseases such as autism, obesity, rickets and asthma. We sought to identify the link between VitD deficiency and these diseases.

We studied the association between participation in the longitudinal follow-up study and cardiometabolic disorders in two longitudinal studies which started prospectively in the antenatal period: the Northern Finland Cohort 1966 (NFBC1966) and the Northern Finland Birth Cohort 1986 (NFBC1986). Both birth cohorts have been followed up since birth with multiple follow-ups including questionnaires, and clinical examinations. ⋯ The results suggest that participation in the NFBC1986 may have a weak positive health effect among men. Agreement to follow-up studies focusing on diet, substance use, and physical activity, may slightly decrease the incident risk of cardiometabolic disorders in the study population.KEY MESSAGESEven mild interventions, such as follow-up studies in the prospective follow-up studies, might affect participants' behaviour and consequently the incidence of cardiometabolic disordersThe fact that follow-up itself might affect the study population in terms of risk factors, has to be taken into account when estimating the representativeness of the followed population.

Amyloid light chain (AL) amyloidosis is the most common systemic amyloidosis. The objective of this scoping review was to map the available literature on the diagnosis of AL amyloidosis in China. ⋯ This scoping review details the characteristics and results of the recently published studies on diagnosing AL Amyloidosis in China. Biopsy is the most important method for AL Amyloidosis diagnosis in China. In addition, combined tests and some adjuvant methods played essential roles in the diagnosis. Further research is required to determine an acceptable and feasible diagnostic algorithm after symptom onset.
