Meta Analysis Comparative Study
Outcomes of retropubic, laparoscopic, and robotic-assisted prostatectomy.
To compare outcomes of radical retropubic, laparoscopic, and robotic-assisted prostatectomy using evidence-based analysis. ⋯ Our results suggest that, compared with retropubic prostatectomy, laparoscopic and robotic-assisted prostatectomy are associated with decreased operative blood loss, decreased risk of transfusion, and similar risk of positive surgical margin. Further comparative studies-using consistent, validated outcomes measures-are needed to further assess postoperative urinary continence and potency.

Randomized Controlled Trial
The analgesic effect of 8 and 16 mg lornoxicam administered before shock wave lithotripsy: a randomized, double-blind, controlled study.
To evaluate the efficacy of 2 different doses of intravenous lornoxicam for pain relief during shock wave lithotripsy (SWL). ⋯ Eight milligrams of intravenously administered lornoxicam 15 minutes before SWL provides pain relief and patient satisfaction during the procedure, reducing opioid requirements as well as decreasing the incidence of side effects.

Case Reports
Rare case of renal cell carcinoma with double inferior vena cava with venous thrombosis.
Double inferior vena cava is a rare congenital anomaly. Recognition of such venous anomalies is important in the evaluation and surgical treatment of retroperitoneal disease. Newer radiological modalities such as three-dimensional reconstruction of spiral computed tomography help to define such anomalies and avoid significant morbidity during surgical exploration. We present a case of renal cell carcinoma involving left kidney with tumor thrombus extending into both venae cavae, treated by left radical nephrectomy with vena caval thrombectomy.
