To assess the outreach and influence of the main recommendations of surgical governing bodies on adaptation of minimally invasive laparoscopic surgery (MIS) procedures during the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic in an anonymized multi-institutional survey. ⋯ Guidelines of surgical governing bodies on adaptation of MIS during the COVID-19 pandemic demonstrate significant outreach and implementation, whereas centers from the countries with a high disease burden are more often poised to modify their practice. Rapid publication and distribution of such recommendation is crucial during future epidemic threats.

Evaluation of Unplanned Hospital Readmissions After Major Urologic Inpatient Surgery in the Era of Accountable Care.
To provide a multi-institutional analysis of clinical factors predicting unplanned hospital readmission after major inpatient urologic surgery. ⋯ Readmission after inpatient urologic surgery occurs at a rate of 5.8%, with cystectomy and urinary diversion demonstrating the highest rates. Major and minor postoperative complications were the most substantial predictors of readmission. These results may guide risk reduction initiatives to prevent readmissions after major urologic surgery.

To forecast the size and composition of the urologist and urology advanced care provider (ACP; nurse practitioner, physicians' assistant) workforce over the next 20 years. ⋯ With a decrease in urologists over the coming decades, urologists and ACPs may not meet future demand. This forecast highlights the need for discussion and planning among leadership in the field to find creative solutions for this impending workforce shortage.

Association Between Dosage Frequency and the Treatment Outcomes of Sildenafil in Young and Middle-aged Men With Erectile Dysfunction: A Chinese, Multicenter, Observational Study.
To evaluate the correlation between the dosage frequency of sildenafil and its treatment outcomes in men with erectile dysfunction (ED). ⋯ Higher dosage frequency of sildenafil is associated with a better improvement of sexual function and quality of life of men with ED, and the concomitant treatment of hyperlipidemia is recommended.

To assess the effect of resident involvement in male anterior urethroplasties with regard to perioperative and postoperative outcomes using a large multi-institutional prospectively collected database. ⋯ Resident involvement is associated with pOT for anterior urethral strictures. However, it does not adversely affect complication rates or the length of hospital stay.
