3D pseudocontinuous arterial spin labeling (pCASL) with a single post-labeling delay time is commonly used to measure cerebral blood flow (CBF). Multi-phase pCASL has been developed to simultaneously estimate CBF and arterial transit time (ATT). ⋯ Our preliminary results demonstrate the feasibility and potential clinical utility of multi-phase pCASL for simultaneous CBF and ATT quantification in pediatric patients.

To perform a meta-analysis for assessing the accuracy of diffusion kurtosis imaging (DKI)-derived quantitative parameters (kurtosis values, K; and corrected diffusion coefficients non-Gaussian bias, D) in separating malignant cancers from benign lesions. ⋯ Our findings suggest that DKI should be added to the routine imaging protocol for screening cancer, with the highest diagnostic accuracy of diffusion coefficients.

Patients with surgically repaired tetralogy of Fallot (rTOF) often have residual pulmonic valve regurgitation, leading to abnormal remodeling and dysfunction of the right ventricle often requiring pulmonic valve replacement. We tested the hypothesis that 3D analysis of right ventricular (RV) shape and function may reveal differences in regional adaptive remodeling that occurs in patients with rTOF, depending on whether a transannular patch (TAP) was utilized. ⋯ This is the first study to comprehensively describe the influence of TAP on changes in regional RV shape in patients with rTOF. Understanding these differences may help guide therapeutic options for residual pulmonary valve regurgitation in rTOF patients.

MR imaging features of presumed retroclavicular and periscapular intermuscular vascular plexi - An observational, anatomic study.
To describe MR imaging features of presumed vascular plexi in the periscapular (PSC) and retroclavicular (RC) locations. ⋯ RC and PSC vascular plexi are commonly encountered on routine brachial plexus MR imaging and may represent variant vascular networks, as they are frequently found on the contralateral asymptomatic side.

To explore the accuracy of 64-slice multislice computed tomography with ovarian vein tracking technique in identification of surgically transposed ovaries. ⋯ Ovarian vein tracking technique can accurately identify the unmarked transposed ovaries, which is crucial in the diagnosis of abdominal/pelvic lesions.
