The aim of our study was to evaluate the yield of head CT in the ED in different age groups and different referral indications. ⋯ This study shows the yield of ED head CT for acute findings for different age groups and for different referral indications. The frequency of acute findings increased with age. Suspected seizure had the highest association with an acute finding, whereas dizziness had the lowest association.

The number of impalpable breast lesions requiring pre-operative lesion localization (PLL) continues to increase. The use of Radio-guided Occult Lesion Localization with Iodine 125 Seeds (ROLLIS) offers multiple benefits for the multidisciplinary team (MDT), but is not without challenges. ⋯ ROLLIS results in high seed placement accuracy. Despite clear advantages, use of ROLLIS presents some multidisciplinary challenges. Robust patient information, training of new staff and adherence to strict policies and protocols are required to ensure safe delivery of a ROLLIS program.

Parsonage-Turner Syndrome (PTS), also known as idiopathic brachial plexopathy or neuralgic amyotrophy, is an uncommon condition characterized by acute onset of shoulder pain, most commonly unilateral, which may progress to neurologic deficits such as weakness and paresthesias (Feinberg and Radecki, 2010 [1]). Although the etiology and pathophysiology of PTS remains unclear, the syndrome has been reported in the postoperative, postinfectious, and post-vaccination settings, with recent viral illness reported as the most common associated risk factor (Beghi et al., 1985 [2]). Various viral, bacterial, and fungal infections have been reported to precede PTS, however, currently there are no reported cases of PTS in the setting of recent infection with SARS-CoV2 (COVID-19). ⋯ Bone marrow biopsy results excluded malignancy and hypereosinophilic syndrome as other possible etiologies. Additional rheumatologic work-up was also negative, suggesting the etiology of PTS in this patient to be related to recent infection with SARS-CoV2 (COVID-19). Radiologists should be aware of this possible etiology of shoulder pain as the number of cases of SARS-CoV2 (COVID-19) continues to rise worldwide.

Meta-analyses provide high-level evidence and understanding their trends may provide understanding of the field as a whole. Bibliometric analysis was undertaken to understand research trends in a particular field or subfield and to assess citation as a measure of impact. ⋯ The top 5 high impact journals published a large number of meta-analysis and systematic reviews. The greatest number of top-cited articles were from South Korea, shifting away from the United States. Large number of studies focused on oncologic imaging, consistent with recent trends towards development of imaging biomarkers and personalized medicine. Author H index did not predict citation number or density.

To evaluate the applicability and accuracy of a new qualitative diffusion-weighted imaging (DWI) assessment method in the characterization of breast tumors compared to quantitative ADC measurement and dynamic contrast enhanced magnetic resonance imaging (DCE-MRI). ⋯ Qualitative characterization of breast tumors on DWI has comparable accuracy to quantitative ADC analysis. This method might be used to make DWI more widely available with eliminating the need to a predetermined ADC threshold in tumor characterization. However, lower accuracy and inter-reader agreement of it compared to DCE-MRI should be considered.
