Double-bundle anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction with split Achilles allograft and single tibia tunnel for small ACL tibial footprint : technical note with clinical results.
We describe a surgical technique of double-bundle ACL reconstruction with a single tibia tunnel and report the clinical outcome. ⋯ Level IV, therapeutic study.

Randomized Controlled Trial Comparative StudyThe effects of corticosteroid injection versus local anesthetic injection in the treatment of lateral epicondylitis: a randomized single-blinded clinical trial.
This study seeks to compare two treatment methods of lateral epicondylitis: corticosteroid injection (CSI) and a local anesthetic injection (LAI). ⋯ For lateral epicondylitis, CSI has the best short-term treatment results yet the highest recurrent rates. The combination of CSI with other treatment option or with a change in injection technique from single injection to peppering injection may be promising.

Comparative StudyJoint line changes in cruciate-retaining versus posterior-stabilized computer-navigated total knee arthroplasty.
This study compared joint line changes and functional outcomes between cruciate-retaining (CR) and posterior-stabilized (PS) computer-navigated total knee arthroplasties (TKAs). With the increased precision offered by computer navigation, we hypothesized that there should be minimal differences in the joint line changes between the groups and thus no significant differences in the clinical outcomes. ⋯ III.

Healing process after rigid plate fixation of humeral shaft fractures revisited.
The purpose of this study was to describe the radiological healing process after open reduction and internal fixation (ORIF) of humeral shaft fractures with plate. ⋯ Both primary and secondary healing processes were observed after rigid plate fixation of OTA 12 A or B humeral shaft fractures. Our study revealed that size of gap, mode of compression, type of fracture could affect the type of healing, and that periosteal callus formation can occur after rigid plate fixation.

Design and preliminary biomechanical analysis of artificial cervical joint complex.
To design an artificial cervical joint complex (ACJC) prosthesis for non-fusion reconstruction after cervical subtotal corpectomy, and to evaluate the biomechanical stability, preservation of segment movements and influence on adjacent inter-vertebral movements of this prosthesis. ⋯ After cervical subtotal corpectomy, reconstruction with ACJC prosthesis not only obtained instant stability, but also reserved segment motions effectively, without abnormal gain of mobility at adjacent inter-vertebral spaces.
