Han's technique: a new reduction technique for acute anterior shoulder dislocation.
Acute anterior shoulder dislocation (AASD) is the most common joint dislocation. Here, we introduced a new reduction technique for AASD, named "Han's technique" (or "Touch overhead technique"). ⋯ Han's technique (or Touch overhead technique) is a simple, safe, effective, mild and easy to master which can be operated by one surgeon without anesthesia or sedation for AASD.

Remodeling morphology of the subluxated osteotomy vertebra in closing-opening wedge osteotomy in ankylosing spondylitis: would the anterior bony beak blunt?
To investigate the remodeling morphology of subluxated osteotomy vertebra in ankylosing spondylitis (AS) patients with thoracolumbar kyphosis after single-level closing-opening wedge osteotomy (COWO). ⋯ After COWO, new bone formation narrowing the gap and adaptive resorption of the anterior bony beak at the osteotomy level during follow-up was surprisingly favorable. However, the ability of spinal canal remodeling is limited in patients complicated with VS.

Review Meta AnalysisSystematic review of the association between isolated musculoskeletal hypermobility and adolescent idiopathic scoliosis.
Adolescent idiopathic scoliosis (AIS) affects 1-3% of the population, but its pathogenesis remains unclear. The coexistence of musculoskeletal hypermobility and scoliosis in many inherited syndromes raises the possibility that isolated musculoskeletal hypermobility may contribute to AIS development or progression. ⋯ There is a paucity of high-quality evidence examining the association between isolated musculoskeletal hypermobility and AIS. Large-scale prospective studies with adequate adjustment for potential confounding factors could clarify the relationship between musculoskeletal hypermobility and AIS to elucidate its role in the pathogenesis of AIS.
