Using the consultation-based reassurance questionnaire to assess reassurance skills among physiotherapy students: reliability and responsiveness.
There is a robust body of evidence suggesting that communication skills during consultations are associated with patient satisfaction and adherence. Training practitioners to improve communication and reassurance delivery is therefore desirable. The Consultation-Based Reassurance Questionnaire (CRQ) for people presenting with back pain has not been tested as a tool to examine the reliability and responsiveness of communication training for practitioners. ⋯ The CRQ Scale shows good reliability and acceptable levels of responsiveness to detect change before and after training in communication skills in physiotherapy students. The scale requires testing in real-life settings to establish better responsiveness.

Randomized Controlled TrialEffects of elastic band exercise on the frailty states in pre-frail elderly people.
To discuss the effects of elastic band exercise on the frailty states in pre-frail elderly people. ⋯ Elastic band exercise can improve frailty states in pre-frail elderly people, make them broke away from pre-frailty and restore them to non-frailty through improving the grip strength, walking speed and physical activity, and the effects after 8 weeks are better than those after 4 weeks.

Case ReportsThe clinical application of pain neuroscience, graded motor imagery, and graded activity with complex regional pain syndrome-A case report.
Chronic Regional Pain Syndrome (CRPS) is a condition that physical therapists may encounter in an outpatient orthopedic setting. In physical therapy (PT) treatment of CRPS addresses pain and the changes observed in the brain through the use of graded motor imagery (GMI). ⋯ This case report showcases the use of GMI with a patient with CRPS type 1 in an outpatient orthopedic clinic. Clinicians may consider the use of GMI to progress a patient toward maximal functional gains.
