Radiomic features on MRI enable risk categorization of prostate cancer patients on active surveillance: Preliminary findings.
Radiomic analysis is defined as computationally extracting features from radiographic images for quantitatively characterizing disease patterns. There has been recent interest in examining the use of MRI for identifying prostate cancer (PCa) aggressiveness in patients on active surveillance (AS). ⋯ 3 Technical Efficacy: Stage 2 J. Magn. Reson. Imaging 2018.

Radiomic features of pretreatment MRI could identify T stage in patients with rectal cancer: Preliminary findings.
Recent studies have shown that magnetic resonance (MR) radiomic analysis is feasible and has some value in identifying tumor characteristics, but there are few data regarding the role of MR-based radiomic features in rectal cancer. ⋯ 3 Technical Efficacy: Stage 2 J. Magn. Reson. Imaging 2018.

Isotropic three-dimensional T2 mapping of knee cartilage: Development and validation.
1) To implement a higher-resolution isotropic 3D T2 mapping technique that uses sequential T2 -prepared segmented gradient-recalled echo (Iso3DGRE) images for knee cartilage evaluation, and 2) to validate it both in vitro and in vivo in healthy volunteers and patients with knee osteoarthritis. ⋯ 1 Technical Efficacy: Stage 2 J. Magn. Reson. Imaging 2018;47:362-371.
