Diagnostic performance of diffusion-weighted (DWI) and dynamic contrast-enhanced (DCE) MRI for the differentiation of benign from malignant soft-tissue tumors.
A wide range of specificity values for the differentiation of benign and malignant soft-tissue tumors show the limitations of conventional MRI features. The data obtained by quantitative analysis of diffusion-weighted image (DWI) and dynamic contrast-enhanced (DCE) MRIs would provide more objective results, especially in terms of cellularity and perfusion. ⋯ 3 Technical Efficacy: Stage 2 J. 3T chemical shift-encoded MRI: Detection of altered proximal femur marrow adipose tissue composition in glucocorticoid users and validation with magnetic resonance spectroscopy.
Osteoporosis (OP) results in weak bone and can ultimately lead to fracture. Drugs such as glucocorticoids can also induce OP (glucocorticoid-induced osteoporosis [GIO]). Bone marrow adipose tissue composition and quantity may play a role in OP pathophysiology, but has not been thoroughly studied in GIO compared to primary OP. ⋯ 2 Technical Efficacy: Stage 2 J. Magn. Reson. Imaging 2019;50:490-496.

Diurnal variability of cerebral metabolites in healthy human brain with 2D localized correlation spectroscopy (2D L-COSY).
Two-dimensional localized correlation spectroscopy (2D L-COSY) is a research tool that has been applied to evaluate in vivo metabolic activity in many neurological and oncological disorders. Circadian mediators such as brain temperature, hydration, and osmotic regulation have been claimed to change metabolic profiles. ⋯ 1 Technical Efficacy Stage: 1 J. Magn. Reson. MRI prognosticators for adverse maternal and neonatal clinical outcome in patients at high risk for placenta accreta spectrum (PAS) disorders.
Placenta accreta spectrum (PAS) disorders may be associated with significant mortality and morbidity for both mother and fetus. ⋯ 1 Technical Efficacy: Stage 5 J. Magn. Reson. Imaging 2019;50:602-618.

Assessing the performance of benign and malignant breast lesion classification with bilateral TIC differentiation and other effective features in DCE-MRI.
Dynamic contrast-enhanced magnetic resonance imaging (DCE-MRI) is increasingly being used to detect and diagnose breast cancer. However, the effective methods based on quantitative feature analysis need to be explored. ⋯ 1 Technical Efficacy: Stage 2 J. Magn. Reson. Imaging 2019;50:465-473.
