Triexponential function analysis of diffusion-weighted MRI for diagnosing prostate cancer.
To evaluate more detailed information noninvasively through on diffusion and perfusion in prostate cancer (PCa) using triexponential analysis of diffusion-weighted imaging (DWI). ⋯ Triexponential analysis is a noninvasive approach that can provide more detailed information regarding diffusion and perfusion of PCa than biexponential analysis.

Reproducibility and interobserver variability of systolic blood flow velocity and 3D wall shear stress derived from 4D flow MRI in the healthy aorta.
To investigate the reproducibility and interobserver variability of 3D aortic velocity vector fields and wall shear stress (WSS) averaged over five systolic timeframes derived from noncontrast 4D flow magnetic resonance imaging (MRI). ⋯ Systolic velocity and WSS derived from 4D flow MRI are reproducible between consecutive visits, with low interobserver variability in healthy volunteers.

Increased speed and image quality in single-shot fast spin echo imaging via variable refocusing flip angles.
To develop and validate clinically a single-shot fast spin echo (SSFSE) sequence utilizing variable flip angle refocusing pulses to shorten acquisition times via reductions in specific absorption rate (SAR) and improve image quality. ⋯ vrfSSFSE increases speed at 3T over conventional SSFSE via reduced SAR, and when combined with full-Fourier acquisition can improve image quality, although with some increased sensitivity to cardiac motion-related signal loss.

Subcortical gray matter segmentation and voxel-based analysis using transverse relaxation and quantitative susceptibility mapping with application to multiple sclerosis.
To investigate subcortical gray matter segmentation using transverse relaxation rate (R2 *) and quantitative susceptibility mapping (QSM) and apply it to voxel-based analysis in multiple sclerosis (MS). ⋯ Automatic segmentation of iron-rich deep gray matter can be improved by incorporating QSM. Voxel-based evaluation yielded increased R2 * and QSM in MS subjects in all four nuclei studied with R2 *, benefiting the most from localized analysis over whole-structure measures.

Multicenter StudyWhole-body MRI-DWI for assessment of residual disease after completion of therapy in lymphoma: A prospective multicenter study.
To assess the performance of whole-body MRI including diffusion-weighted imaging (whole-body MRI-DWI) for the detection of residual disease after completion of treatment in lymphoma patients. ⋯ Our initial results suggest that visual whole-body MRI-DWI analysis has a very good sensitivity for detecting viable residual lesions after completion of therapy but lacks specificity. ADC measurements could potentially increase the specificity of whole-body MRI.
