Randomized Controlled TrialEffect of preoperative pelvic floor muscle training on pelvic floor muscle contraction and symptomatic and anatomical pelvic organ prolapse after surgery: randomized controlled trial.
To evaluate the effect of preoperative pelvic floor muscle training (PFMT) on pelvic floor muscle (PFM) contraction, symptoms of pelvic organ prolapse (POP) and anatomical POP, 6 months after prolapse surgery, and to assess the overall changes in PFM contraction, POP symptoms and pelvic organ descent after surgery. ⋯ We found no effect of preoperative PFMT on PFM contraction, POP symptoms or anatomical prolapse after surgery. In all patients, PFM contraction and POP symptoms were improved at the 6-month follow-up, most likely due to the anatomical correction of POP. Copyright © 2020 ISUOG. Randomized Controlled Trial Multicenter StudyPrevention of preterm birth with pessary in singletons (PoPPS): randomized controlled trial.
To determine if pessary use prevents preterm birth (PTB) in women with singleton pregnancy, with short cervical length (CL) measured on transvaginal sonography (TVS) and without prior spontaneous PTB (sPTB). ⋯ Cervical pessary use was not associated with prevention of PTB in women with a singleton pregnancy, short CL on TVS and no prior sPTB in this small, underpowered randomized controlled trial. Randomized Controlled Trial Multicenter Study Comparative StudyASPRE trial: performance of screening for preterm pre-eclampsia.
To examine the performance of screening for preterm and term pre-eclampsia (PE) in the study population participating in the ASPRE (Combined Multimarker Screening and Randomized Patient Treatment with Aspirin for Evidence-Based Preeclampsia Prevention) trial. ⋯ The performance of screening in the ASPRE study was comparable with that of a study of approximately 60 000 singleton pregnancies used for development of the algorithm; in that study, combined screening detected 76.6% of cases of preterm PE and 38.3% of term PE at a FPR of 10%. Randomized Controlled Trial Multicenter StudyPrevention of preterm birth with pessary in twins (PoPPT): a randomized controlled trial.
To evaluate whether cervical pessary placement prevents preterm birth (PTB) in twin gestations with a short mid-trimester cervical length (CL) on transvaginal sonography (TVS). ⋯ Treatment with cervical pessary was not associated with the prevention of PTB in women with a twin gestation and a mid-trimester TVS-CL of ≤ 30 mm in this small underpowered randomized controlled trial. Randomized Controlled Trial Multicenter Study Comparative StudySingle-dose systemic methotrexate vs expectant management for treatment of tubal ectopic pregnancy: a placebo-controlled randomized trial.
Methotrexate is used routinely worldwide for the medical treatment of clinically stable women with a tubal ectopic pregnancy. This is despite the lack of robust evidence to show its superior effectiveness over expectant management. The aim of our multicenter randomized controlled trial was to compare success rates of methotrexate against placebo for the conservative treatment of tubal ectopic pregnancy. : : ,,。。 : 2005820146,2。,,β(beta human chorionic gonadotropin,β-hCG)<1500 IU/L。,(50 mg/m2 )。,β-hCG<20 IU/L,。。 : 80,42,38。2、、、β-hCG。2:83%,76%。,[χ2 (1)=0.53;P=0.47]。logistic,β-hCG。β-hCG,0.15%[,1.0015(95% CI,1.0002~1.003);P=0.02]。14β-hCG1000~1500 IU/L,33%,62%。,β-hCG。,2β-hCG(P=0.73),17.5[(interquartile range,IQR),14~28.0](n=30),14 (IQR,7~29.5)(n=25)。 : 、、β-hCG(<1500 IU/L)。,β-hCG>1500 IU/L、。.
