[Influence of morbidity, metabolic control, and use of resources in subjects with cardiovascular risk in the primary care setting].
To determine the comorbidity, the therapeutic objectives, and economic impact in subjects with cardiovascular risk in primary care (PC). ⋯ The presence of a CVE is associated with higher comorbidity, causing an increase in costs. The achievement of therapeutic control objectives could be improved, in primary prevention as well as in secondary. Intervention strategies should be increased to modify life styles in these patients.

[Detection of violence against women in the family doctor clinic].
To find out the magnitude of violence against female partners among patients who visit their family doctor. To study frequency and acceptance of its investigation by the family doctor and to assess the effectiveness of a screening question on abuse. ⋯ Some degree of abuse was detected in almost a quarter of women who consult their family doctor. Family doctors do not usually ask about family and partner relationships and environment, although for almost all women it is well appreciated and the item has an increased likelihood ratio and high negative predictive value in detecting abuse.

To evaluate the predictive value of the quality of life (QOL) questionnaire at 8 years and analyse which of its 5 dimensions better predict adverse results in health. ⋯ The QOL questionnaire has a mortality predictive capacity at 8 years.

[Incidence and prevalence of occupational diseases in Spain].
To estimate the impact of occupational diseases in Spain in terms of incidence and prevalence and to compare them with the notifications actually made. ⋯ Occupational diseases impact could be quite over what it is showed in the official occupational diseases registry in Spain. It is necessary to give visibility to this problem to provide adequate care and prevention of occupational diseases in the population.
