Editorial Review
[Artificial intelligence and its applications in medicine I: introductory background to AI and robotics].
Technology and medicine follow a parallel path during the last decades. Technological advances are changing the concept of health and health needs are influencing the development of technology. Artificial intelligence (AI) is made up of a series of sufficiently trained logical algorithms from which machines are capable of making decisions for specific cases based on general rules. ⋯ Therefore, AI is going to be a technology present in our daily work through machines or computer programs, which in a more or less transparent way for the user, will become a daily reality in health processes. Health professionals have to know this technology, its advantages and disadvantages, because it will be an integral part of our work. In these two articles we intend to give a basic vision of this technology adapted to doctors with a review of its history and evolution, its real applications at the present time and a vision of a future in which AI and Big Data will shape the personalized medicine that will characterize the 21st century.

Despite the acknowledged importance of 'Person Centered Care' (PCC), there are obvious limitations for its determination and measurement due to the difficulty of its exact definition. The objective of our review is to identify valid tools that measure the PCC or some of its aspects in the field of Primary Health Care. ⋯ Due to the difficulty of measuring PCC as a whole, most of the articles refer only to one of its aspects or dimensions, with the patient's perspective prevailing over that of the professional. All these tools are, nevertheless, an important starting point for future questionnaires that attempt an integral approach to the PCC.

Randomized Controlled Trial
[Effect of a multidimensional intervention for prevention of falls in the eldery].
To evaluate the effect of a multidimensional intervention on the perception and management of risk factors and frequency of falls in independent elderly people living in the community. ⋯ The multidimensional intervention was effective in reducing the frequency of falls and in the management of extrinsic risk factors associated with surfaces, lighting, and support devices.

Randomized Controlled Trial Multicenter Study
[Effectiveness of double-layered compression therapy against crepe bandage for healing venous ulcers in primary care. Randomized clinical trial].
To evaluate if the two-layer bandage is more effective than the crepe bandage in the healing of venous ulcers after 12 weeks of follow-up. ⋯ We didn't find significant differences in the healing between the two bandages evaluated. Both are appropriate for ulcer healing and to improve the health-related quality of life.

Describe the characteristics of the therapeutic positioning reports (TPRs) published in Spain in the period 2013-2019. ⋯ For TPRs to meet their objective of improving the efficiency of the assessment process and the consistency in the decisions on price, reimbursement and financing of medicines by the SNS, the deadlines established for publication must be met, incorporating systematically information on the efficiency of the drugs and including periodic updates with the new information generated.
