The abandonment of tobacco consumption has slowed down in the period 2008-2015, especially in men, and middle and upper social classes.

The novel coronavirus SARS-CoV-2 is a positive single-stranded RNA virus that can be immediately translated and integrated into the host cell with its own RNA messenger, facilitating replication inside the cell and infectivity. The rapid progression of the disease presents a real challenge for the whole world. ⋯ Telemedicine connects the convenience, low cost, and ready accessibility of health-related information and communication using the Internet and associated technologies. Telemedicine during the coronavirus epidemic has been the doctors' first line of defense to slow the spread of the coronavirus, keeping social distancing and providing services by phone or videoconferencing for mild to focus personal care and limited supplies to the most urgent cases.

High blood pressure is one of the most prevalent diseases in general adult population. Its importance lies in the complications it causes in target organs such as kidney, heart, brain and eye. The aim of this work is to evaluate the agreement in the evaluation and interpretation of retinographies of hypertensive patients by family doctors and ophthalmologists. ⋯ The evaluation of the retinographies in habitual conditions of clinical practice has a high subjective component that is reflected in slight and fair inter-intraobserver concordance values. The use of objective reading systems in the assessment of retinography in hypertensive patients would be useful.

[Effectiveness of a nursing program of self-care and Mindfulness, in the approach to the common mental disorder in primary care].
To evaluate the effectiveness of the implementation of a mindfulness and self-care program to treat common mental health disorders in primary care. ⋯ A moderate reduction of the symptoms, together with the reduction of the medication, indicate that the intervention of mindfulness supervised by the primary care nurse can be a treatment option for the mental disorders common in this level of care.
