Identify improvement proposals for approaching violence against women through the evaluation of 2009s Protocol for approaching Violence Against Women in Health Care in Cataluña (PAVIM). ⋯ The improvement proposals identified are those that have generated a greater consensus among participants and are the most interesting to primary care. As limitations, stand out the temporality and heterogeneity of the Catalan territory.

[Current situation of children with medical complexity: An experience between primary and hospital care].
To analyze the assessment of the care of children with medical complexity (CMC) in Primary Care (PC), from the point of view of their doctors and their families. ⋯ The lack of coordination between PC and Hospital Care is detected as an important problem in the continuity of care at CMC. Interventions are needed to improve this coordination. The PC is close to the family but needs to improve the education and training of professionals in health problems and technical support from CMC, as well as increase the time necessary for their care.

Pain is the fearest and disabling symptom for cancer patients. The cornerstone of treatment is opioid analgesics. The objective of this research was to relate the opioid consumption existing in the Community of Madrid (CM) with the prescription habits expressed by the Primary Care (PrC) and Palliative Care (PalC) physicians. ⋯ There is a clear disagreement between the actual consumption of opioids and the prescribing habits manifested by family doctors, as well as a false certainty in prescribing these drugs.

To analyze whether the drug safety update issued by the Spanish Agency of Medicines and Healthcare Products (AEMPS), dated October 30, 2018, on agranulocytosis and metamizole contains accurate and necessary information to protect patients from the presentation of this adverse reaction (AR) and if the official documentation of medicines containing metamizole for doctors, pharmacists and the general population conforms to the guidelines of the AEMPS to reduce this risk. ⋯ The AEMPS drug safety update can be improved and it is necessary to update the official information documents on metamizole for health professionals and patients in order to decrease the risk of agranulocytosis.
