[Effects of including mutual aid groups in the adherence of a continuing care programme of alcohol dependent patients carried out in a Primary Care setting].
To demonstrate the effects of including mutual aid associations into a continuing care programme for patients with alcohol dependence carried out by Primary Care teams. SITE: Primary Care Teams belonging to the attendance area of the University Hospital 12 de Octubre at Madrid. ⋯ Including mutual aid associations that carried out the «Help yourself-Help Us» programme for a four-year period improves outcomes related to therapeutic adherence in patients with alcohol dependence attending Primary Care teams.

We aimed to describe sociodemographic, comorbidities, co-medication and risk of thromboembolic events and bleeding in patients with NVAF initiating oral anticoagulants (OAC) for stroke prevention, and to estimate adherence and persistence to OAC. ⋯ Acenocoumarol was the most frequently prescribed OAC as first therapy in NVAF patients. Non-naive to DOAC showed better persistence than naive. Rivaroxaban showed higher proportion of adherent patients during the implementation phase than apixaban and dabigatran the lowest.

To describe the translation and cross-cultural adaptation process of the Hopkins Symptom Checklist-25 (HSCL-25) scale into Spanish, Catalan and Galician. ⋯ The translations of the HSCL-25 scale in Spanish, Catalan and Galician are semantically and conceptually equivalent to the original version. Translations are understandable and well accepted by patients.
