To describe Internet sources used by adolescents to consult health information and their sociodemographic characteristics, as well as to identify the variables that influence the choice of Internet site. ⋯ Adolescents seek information mainly through Google, with no knowledge of systems that accredit content quality, but consider it useful and reliable, changing their behaviour patterns according to the information found. All this carries a risk in this age group with very sensitive characteristics. Therefore, we believe that we should continue along the line of designing other alternative communication channels adapted to their current reality.

Observational Study
[Impact of disabling chronic pain: results of a cross-sectional population study with face-to-face interview].
To assess the impact of disabling chronic pain (DCP) on quality of life, work, consumption of medication and usage of health services. ⋯ We have considered DCP as another CP category because of its huge impact, as is shown in our study, on the study variables. On the contrary, the population with nDCP does not obtain significant impact differences when compared to the population without CP. Therefore, we believe that Primary Care and Public Health should lead different prevention strategies for DCP as well as for the identification of the nDCP population to decrease its possible deterioration towards DCP.

Cardiovascular risk factors, specifically arterial hypertension, hyperlipidemia and diabetes, represent a very important part in relation to the emerging problem of overdiagnosis and overtreatment in primary health care. The reasons that support this threat are diverse. ⋯ These recommendations have also been modified in recent years by virtue of professional consensus, with great potential for overtreatment and risk of undesirable effects on health. Therefore, it is essential to adequately evaluate the diagnostic criteria, inform of existing doubts and insist on the importance of changes in healthy habits such as diet and physical exercise, as well as actively reflect on the advantages and disadvantages of pharmacological treatment.
