Multicenter Study Clinical TrialKorean Multicenter Registry of Transcatheter Arterial Chemoembolization with Drug-Eluting Embolic Agents for Nodular Hepatocellular Carcinomas: Six-Month Outcome Analysis.
To assess the efficacy and safety of transcatheter arterial chemoembolization with drug-eluting embolic (DEE) agents for nodular hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC). ⋯ DEE chemoembolization for nodular HCC had an acceptable safety profile and acceptable 6-month tumor response and survival rates.

The Value of 320-Row Multidetector CT Bronchial Arteriography in Recurrent Hemoptysis after Failed Transcatheter Arterial Embolization.
To retrospectively assess the value of computed tomographic (CT) bronchial arteriography (BA) with 320-row multidetector CT in the management of patients with recurrent hemoptysis immediately after bronchial artery embolization (BAE). ⋯ Multiple unrecognized abnormal ectopic bronchial arteries and NBSAs are the major causes of failure of initial BAE. Multidetector CT BA can precisely identify a large number of feeding vessels that are missed on conventional BA, allowing for repeat embolization with a high success rate.

Comparative StudySpecialty-Specific Values Affecting the Management of Symptomatic Uterine Fibroids.
To better understand why interventional radiologists and gynecologists differ in their approaches to symptomatic uterine fibroids. ⋯ Interventional radiologists and gynecologists demonstrated wide-ranging perspectives regarding their role in caring for patients with symptomatic uterine fibroids. To promote genuine collaboration and adoption of shared goals, stakeholders should seek and promote a deeper understanding of specialty-specific values and culture.

Establishing Local Diagnostic Reference Levels in IR Procedures with Dose Management Software.
To obtain local diagnostic reference levels (DRLs) in diagnostic and therapeutic IR procedures with dose management software to improve radiation protection. ⋯ Dose management software can be used to derive local DRLs for various IR procedures, taking into consideration different levels of complexity. Proposed local DRLs can contribute to obtaining detailed national DRLs as part of efforts to improve patients' radiation protection further.

Percutaneous Cryoablation for the Treatment of Recurrent Malignant Pleural Mesothelioma: Safety, Early-Term Efficacy, and Predictors of Local Recurrence.
To determine safety and early-term efficacy of CT-guided cryoablation for treatment of recurrent mesothelioma and assess risk factors for local recurrence. ⋯ CT-guided cryoablation is safe for local control of recurrent mesothelioma, with a low rate of complications and promising early-term efficacy. A smaller ablative margin may predispose to tumor recurrence.
