Evaluate reliability and validity of the Functional Assessment of Cancer Therapy-Hepatobiliary (FACT-Hep) questionnaire and its derivative FACT Hepatobiliary Symptom Indexes (FHSI-18 and FHSI-8) in people with metastatic pancreatic cancer. ⋯ FACT-Hep detects change and is a reliable and valid instrument for measuring health-related quality of life in patients with metastatic pancreatic cancer.

The Migraine-Specific Quality of Life Questionnaire version 2.1 (MSQ) has been shown to have good psychometric performance in measuring headache impact in migraine patients, but its properties specifically in chronic migraine (CM) patients are unknown. The objective of this study was to evaluate the psychometric properties of the MSQ in a group of CM patients undergoing prophylactic treatment. ⋯ The MSQ is a psychometrically valid tool that can be used to reliably measure the impact of migraine among CM patients.

The aim was to develop and conduct preliminary testing of a short-form measure to assess spiritual, religious and personal beliefs (SRPB) within quality of life (QoL). ⋯ Preliminary evidence shows that the WHOQOL-SRPB BREF is sound for use in, and beyond health care. Extracted from a measure already available in 18 languages, this short-form can be immediately used where such translations exist.
