Arthroscopic reconstruction of the popliteus complex: accuracy and reproducibility of a new surgical technique.
With combined PCL reconstruction and a minimal invasive (extra-anatomical) Larson's procedure, dorsal instability can be reduced by about 50-70 %. Better results are described by open and more anatomical procedures. In this study, a new, standardized, arthroscopic technique for anatomical popliteus tendon (PLT) reconstruction is evaluated. ⋯ III.

Are meniscal tears and articular cartilage injury predictive of inferior patient outcome after surgical reconstruction for the dislocated knee?
A paucity of data exists on the effects of articular cartilage and meniscal injury in the setting of knee dislocations. The purpose of this study is to determine whether concomitant intra-articular injuries at the time of multiligament reconstruction for knee dislocation are associated with inferior outcomes. ⋯ IV.

Comparison of hamstring tendon autograft and tibialis anterior allograft in arthroscopic transtibial single-bundle posterior cruciate ligament reconstruction.
To compare the outcomes between hamstring tendon autograft and tibialis anterior allograft in arthroscopic transtibial single-bundle posterior cruciate ligament (PCL) reconstruction. ⋯ Retrospective comparative study, Level III.

Does age predict outcome after multiligament knee reconstruction for the dislocated knee? 2- to 22-year follow-up.
The purpose of this study is to determine whether age is a predictor of clinical and functional outcomes in patients who sustained a knee dislocation (KD) and underwent multiligament knee reconstruction. It was hypothesized that increasing age will negatively affect patient outcome. ⋯ IV.
