ReviewReturning to orthopaedic business as usual after COVID-19: strategies and options.
The aim of this manuscript is to review the available strategies in the international literature to efficiently and safely return to both normal orthopaedic surgical activities and to normal outpatient clinical activities in the aftermath of a large epidemic or pandemic. This information would be beneficial to adequately reorganize outpatient clinics and hospitals to provide the highest possible level of orthopaedic care to our patients in a safe and efficient manner. ⋯ Review, Level V.

EditorialManagement of orthopaedic and traumatology patients during the Coronavirus disease (COVID-19) pandemic in northern Italy.
This article aims to share northern Italy's experience in hospital re-organization and management of clinical pathways for traumatic and orthopaedic patients in the early stages of the COVID-19 pandemic. ⋯ The structure of the orthopaedic hubs, and the internal protocols proposed, could help to improve the quality of assistance for patients with musculoskeletal disorders and reduce the risk of overload in general hospitals during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Multicenter StudyTransfusion after total knee arthroplasty can be predicted using the machine learning algorithm.
A blood transfusion after total knee arthroplasty (TKA) is associated with an increase in complication and infection rates. However, no studies have been conducted to predict transfusion after TKA using a machine learning algorithm. The purpose of this study was to identify informative preoperative variables to create a machine learning model, and to provide a web-based transfusion risk-assessment system for clinical use. ⋯ Diagnostic level II.
