Chronic pain is usually underestimated in children, due to lack of knowledge and its specific signs. In addition to suffering, chronic pain causes a physical, psychological, emotional, social, and financial burden for the child and his family. Practitioners may find themselves in a situation of failure with depletion of medical resources. ⋯ These techniques have also shown interest in phantom limb pain after limb amputation, but they remain controversial for erythromelalgia pain or chronic abdominopelvic pain. Finally, the treatment of postdural puncture headache due to cerebrospinal fluid leak can be treated by performing an epidural injection of the patient's blood, called a blood-patch. Finally, the management of children with chronic pain should be multidisciplinary (pediatrician, physiotherapist, psychologist, surgeon, anesthesiologist) to support the child and her problem in its entirety.

[Acrodermatitis enteropathica-like disease in a full-term exclusively breast-fed infant].
Symptomatic zinc deficiency can occur in exclusively breast-fed infants. We report a case in a 5-month-old infant. ⋯ Zinc deficiency in breast-fed infants is a rare disease caused by a low level of zinc in the mother's milk. The clinical features resemble those of acrodermatitis enteropathica. Oral zinc supplementation is required until weaning.

Enteroviruses are single-stranded RNA viruses of the picornavirus family. In the neonatal period, enterovirus can cause severe meningo-encephalitis, sepsis syndrome, hepatitis, or myocarditis. ⋯ Diagnosis and follow-up were confirmed using cardiac magnetic resonance imaging (MRI). We provide a detailed clinical, biological, and cardiac imaging description with specific comments on MRI diagnosis of myocarditis.

Gastric pneumatosis is a rare pathology. Its occurrence in the neonatal period requires looking for ulcerative-necrotizing enterocolitis in a context of prematurity or an underlying surgical obstacle. ⋯ The surgical exploration showed gastric pneumatosis, complete duodenal atresia located at the level of the second duodenal portion, and an annular pancreas. Progression was favorable after duodenostomy.
