Prevalence of Newly Diagnosed End-Stage Renal Disease Patients in a Tertiary Hospital of Central Nepal, Chitwan: A Descriptive Cross-sectional Study.
End-stage renal disease patients are in rising trend globally, and they have been found to occur predominantly in developing countries. However, no such studies were done in Chitwan, Nepal. This study's main objective was to find the prevalence of newly diagnosed end-stage renal disease patients. ⋯ The prevalence of new end-stage renal disease was found to be quite high. Case ReportsMultiple Cavernous Haemangioma of Orbit and Cranium: A Case Report.
A 32-year-old male presented with painless proptosis and diminution of vision in left eye. Imaging shows multiple well-defined masses, suggestive of cavernous haemangioma, in orbit and cranium with adjoining bones being thickened with cystic spaces. ⋯ Cavernous haemangioma usually presents as a solitary intraconal and sometimes extraconal mass with vision usually preserved unless it extends to the apical portion. Here we report a rare case of multiple simultaneous locations of cavernous haemangiomas in orbit and cranium with significant diminution of vision.

Study of Intraocular Pressure following Neodynium Yttrium Aluminium Garnet Laser Capsulotomy with the Use of Brimonidine: A Descriptive Cross-sectional Study.
Posterior capsular opacification is a common complication after cataract surgery. Neodynium Yttrium Aluminium Garnet laser capsulotomy is still the preferred treatment for posterior capsular opacification. This study was done to determine the use of Brimonidine eye drop in preventing the rise of intraocular pressure post-Neodynium Yttrium Aluminium Garnet laser capsulotomy. ⋯ Neodynium Yttrium Aluminium Garnet laser capsulotomy had lower intraocular pressure after the Brimonidine eye drop procedure. The maximum mean reduction in intraocular pressure was observed after two hours.

Study of Self-medication among First and Seventh Semester Medical and Dental Undergraduate Students of Tertiary Care Teaching Hospital in Nepal: A Descriptive Cross-sectional Study.
Although appropriate self-medication can ease minor illness and is time and costeffective, it can lead to irrational drug use and increased resistance, leading to prolonged morbidity. Inclined towards medical information and drug indices, medical students have an open arena for self-medication practice. This study was conducted to find the prevalence of self-medication among first and seventh semester medical and dental students in a tertiary care hospital. ⋯ Since self-medication is crammed with serious health hazards, proper exposure to the topic should be given to medical, dental students, and pharmacists. The implication of selfmedication into the pharmacology syllabus is a must.
