COVID-19 among Pregnant Women Delivering in a Tertiary Care Center: A Descriptive Cross-sectional Study.
Coronavirus Disease 2019 pandemic is raging across the world and has affected pregnant women as well. There is limited information regarding COVID-19 in pregnant women. The study aimed to find the prevalence of COVID-19 among all pregnant women who delivered during the study period in a tertiary care center. ⋯ The prevalence of COVID-19 among pregnant women delivering in our center is similar to other studies done in similar settings. In our study, we found that the majority of women had been asymptomatic and were diagnosed on routine testing. Hence, it is important to test all pregnant women before delivery for Coronavirus Disease 2019 irrespective of the presence or absence of symptoms.

Perception of Health Care Practitioners of Government Designated COVID-19 Hospitals of Nepal towards the Management of COVID-19 Pandemic: A Descriptive Cross-sectional Study.
Amidst the chaos of COVID-19, health care practitioners are persistently providing services and experiencing many challenges. This study aimed to determine the perception of health care practitioners of government designated COVID-19 hospitals of Nepal towards the management of COVID-19 pandemic. ⋯ The satisfactory perception of the health care practitioners in our study towards the management of COVID-19 pandemic in Nepal is lower as compared to the other studies in Nepal and abroad.

Enterocutaneous fistula is any communication between bowel and skin or atmosphere outside the body. It can be classified by various means by etiology, organ of origin, etc. Enterocutaneous fistula can occur after any gastrointestinal surgery where there is some trauma during surgery or other associated causes such as malignancy, inflammatory bowel disease, foreign body, etc. ⋯ Wound care should be done aggressively, proper skincare, timely drainage of any localised abscesses should be done. Patients should be properly resuscitated and stabilised before any definitive investigations and management. Surgical therapy can be staged and should not be rushed which results in failure of this complex disease process.

Abdominal Obesity among Outpatients in a Tertiary Level Eye ENT Hospital: A Descriptive Cross-sectional Study.
Abdominal obesity, as abnormal fat accumulation that presents a risk to health, is a global epidemic. There is evidence to support a trait of abdominal adipose deposition despite normal body mass index in south asian populations with greater cardiometabolic risks. Thus, this study aimed to find out the prevalence of abdominal obesity using the waist to height ratio among outpatients in a tertiary level hospital. ⋯ The prevalence of abdominal obesity among hospital outpatients is higher than in other community-based studies. As hospitals attract large crowds and provide excellent opportunities for screening patients, their attendants, as well as providing opportunities for health promotion, we recommend the introduction of opportunistic obesity screening in all health facilities using weight to height ratio in a phased manner.

Peripheral Vascular Trauma among Vascular Surgery Cases Operated in a Tertiary Care Hospital: A Descriptive Cross-sectional Study.
Peripheral vascular trauma can result in limb or life-threatening injuries. Early surgical intervention leads to a better outcome. Diagnosis is made clinically, by non-invasive and invasive imaging modalities. Our aim in this study is to find out the prevalence of peripheral vascular trauma among vascular surgery cases operated in a tertiary care centre of Nepal. ⋯ The prevalence of vascular surgery for peripheral vascular trauma among vascular surgeries operated in our study was similar to other studies done in similar settings. Vascular injury needs urgent intervention and appropriate management will result in a high chance of limb salvage and survival.
