Case ReportsDelayed Presentation of Renal Arterio-Venous Fistula and Pseudoaneurysm in Native Left Kidney in Allograft Recipient: A Case Report.
Iatrogenic complications due to renal biopsy majorly include formation of an arterio-venous fistula, pseudoaneurysm or arterio-ureteral fistula. These complications are observed within a span of few days post biopsy and are rare after few years. ⋯ Superselective embolization was achieved using coils and high concentration glue and transient placement of a venous occlusion balloon with complete technical and clinical success. Multicenter StudyVerbal Abuse among Nurses in Tertiary Care Hospitals.
Verbal abuse against nurses who are major working force can affect the work performance and productivity in hospital. Verbal abuse is epidemic in tertiary care hospitals though it is most preventable with healthcare professions. The study aims to identify the prevalence of verbal abuse among nurses in a Tertiary Care Hospital. ⋯ Verbal abuse is frequently prevalent in nurses and mostly from patient's visitors. Hence, nurses should maintain their respect and authority otherwise it will lead to decrease in their performance that shows direct impact on patient care and consequently the effectiveness of the health care system.

Case ReportsGiant Arcuate Lupus Vulgaris with Rapid Progression: A Case Report.

Prevalence of Vitamin D Deficiency among Adult Patients in A Tertiary Care Hospital.
The deficiency of vitamin D is major public health problem worldwide. It is deficiency of vitamin D level when blood serum which is below 30ng/ml. The deficiency is associated with various musculoskeletal diseases and autoimmune diseases. The early detection of deficiency plays important role to prevent those diseases. The aim of the study is to find the prevalence of vitamin D deficiency among adult population in a tertiary care hospital. ⋯ The prevalence of vitamin D deficiency was high compared to previous studies. Vitamin D deficiency was found to be higher in females than males.

WHO defines adolescent pregnancy as any pregnancy from a girl who is 10-19 years of age, the age being defined as her age at the time the baby is born. Globally, adolescent birth rate is 44 per 1000 women aged 15-19 years whereas 33 per 1000 in South East Asian region. The main objective of the study is to find the prevalence of adolescent pregnancy in a tertiary care hospital. ⋯ Adolescent pregnancy in developed countries is usually outside of marriage and carries a social stigma but in the context of developing countries it usually happens within marriage and half of them are planned reflecting educational status and contraception knowledge. Effective interventions need to be developed like strict enforcement of laws prohibiting teenage marriage.
