Review Meta AnalysisEditor's Choice - The Implications of Non-compliance to Endovascular Aneurysm Repair Surveillance: A Systematic Review and Meta-analysis.
Increasingly, reports show that compliance rates with endovascular aneurysm repair (EVAR) surveillance are often suboptimal. The aim of this study was to determine the safety implications of non-compliance with surveillance. ⋯ This systematic review and meta-analysis suggests that patients compliant with EVAR surveillance programmes may have an increased re-intervention rate but do not appear to have better survival rates than non-compliant patients.

An Individualised Strategy and Long-Term Outcomes of Endovascular Treatment of Budd-Chiari Syndrome Complicated by Inferior Vena Cava Thrombosis.
The aim was to evaluate individualised treatment and long-term outcomes of endovascular treatment of Budd-Chiari syndrome (BCS) complicated by inferior vena cava (IVC) thrombosis. ⋯ For patients with BCS complicated by IVC thrombosis, an individualised endovascular treatment strategy based on the type, size, extent, and degree of organisation of the thrombus is associated with long-term patency of the IVC and favourable survival and complication rates.

One Year Outcomes of 101 BeGraft Stent Grafts used as Bridging Stents in Fenestrated Endovascular Repairs.
To evaluate the outcomes of the second generation BeGraft balloon expandable covered stent Graft System (Bentley InnoMed, Hechingen, Germany) implanted as bridging stent grafts during fenestrated endovascular aortic repair (FEVAR) of complex aneurysms. ⋯ BeGraft stent grafts used as bridging stents during FEVAR are associated with favourable outcomes at 1 year follow-up. Long-term follow-up is required to confirm these promising results.

Comparative StudyA Propensity Matched Comparison for Open and Endovascular Treatment of Post-carotid Endarterectomy Restenosis.
To compare results of open and endovascular management of post-carotid endarterectomy (CEA) restenosis. ⋯ CAS and redo CEA in patients with post-CEA restenosis provided similar peri-operative results in a sample of equivalent patients. CAS patients had better follow-up results in terms of secondary restenosis and re-interventions. Further analysis is required with a larger number of patients and a longer follow-up time.

Fenestrated Thoracic Endovascular Aortic Repair Using Physician Modified Stent Grafts for Acute Type B Aortic Dissection with Unfavourable Landing Zone.
The aim was to evaluate the early results of fenestrated thoracic endovascular aortic repair (fTEVAR) using physician modified stent grafts (PMSGs) to revascularise aortic branches for acute type B aortic dissection (ABAD) with unfavourable proximal landing zone. ⋯ fTEVAR using PMSGs may be a viable alternative for patients who present with ABAD without healthy proximal landing zones and who are unable to wait for a custom made fenestrated device.
