Endovascular Treatment of Infra-inguinal Arterial Occlusive Disease in Patients with Diabetes.
To present the early and mid-term results of PTA for femoropopliteal lesions in diabetic patients, performed by the cardiovascular surgeons. ⋯ Endovascular procedures can be performed by cardiovascular surgeons in the early and mid-term with high success and low complication rates in patients with diabetes mellitus. Key Words: Percutaneous transluminal angioplasty, Endovascular arterial intervention, Diabetes, Femoro-popliteal occlusion, Revascularisation, Lower limb arterial occlusion.

The Importance of Eosinopenia for Predicting Treatment Response in Patients with Cholangitis.
To compare recovery of eosinopenia, C-reactive protein (CRP) and procalcitonin levels in predicting the response to treatment in patients with cholangitis. ⋯ Eosinopenia may be used as inflammatory marker in evaluation of response to treatment and for predicting the need to repeat ERCP during clinical follow-up of patients who undergo cholangitis treatment. Key Words: Cholangitis, C-reactive protein, Endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography, Eosinopenia, Procalcitonin.

To ascertain the safety and efficacy of percutaneous nephrolithomy in patients with previous open renal surgery. ⋯ Percutaneous nephrolithomy is safe and effective in previously operated kidneys despite the possibility of calyceal anatomy distortion and scarring. Key Words: Percutaneous nephrolithotomy, Open surgery, Kidney calculi.

Observational StudySuperior Mesenteric and Inferior Mesenteric Artery Diameters in Colorectal Cancer.
To compare the superior mesenteric artery (SMA) and inferior mesenteric artery (IMA) diameters in colorectal cancer compared to control. ⋯ Patients with rectal cancer and left colon cancer have a wider IMA diameter than patients without colorectal cancer. IMA diameter can be a potential marker for locoregional staging of rectal cancer. Key Words: Superior mesenteric artery, Inferior mesenteric artery, Colorectal cancer, Markers, Diameter.

Observational StudyApparent Diffusion Coefficient in Predicting the Preoperative Grade of Meningiomas.
To investigate the relationship between the apparent diffusion coefficients (ADC) value obtained from magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) and histopathologic grade of meningiomas. ⋯ The data of this study show a significant difference in the ADCmin values on MRI between low- and high-grade meningiomas. A negative correlation was found between histopathologic grade and ADCmin. Key Words: Meningioma, Apparent diffusion coefficient, Magnetic resonance imaging, Histopathological grade, Quantitative.
