To determine the frequency of dysmenorrhea and its associated symptoms amongst a number of adolescent female students and to investigate the possible association between daily dairy product intake and dysmenorrhea. ⋯ Primary dysmenorrhea is common in young women. This study helps us to better understand the relationship between low dietary intake of dairy products and the risk of dysmenorrhea.

Limitations of internal iliac artery ligation for the reduction of intraoperative hemorrhage during cesarean hysterectomy in cases of placenta previa accreta.
Our purpose was to evaluate the effect of internal iliac ligation as a bleeding control during cesarean hysterectomy for placenta accreta. ⋯ In cases of placenta previa accreta, ligation of the internal iliac artery did not significantly contribute to hemostasis during cesarean hysterectomy.
