Fibrinogen concentrate substitution therapy for obstetric hemorrhage complicated by coagulopathy.
The aim of this study was to assess the efficacy and safety of fibrinogen concentrate therapy for women with obstetric hemorrhage complicated by dilutional or consumptive coagulopathy by retrospectively reviewing the medical records of relevant patients from a single tertiary center. ⋯ Fibrinogen concentrate substitution therapy for obstetric hemorrhage increases fibrinogen levels and appears to be effective in managing dilutional or consumptive coagulopathy.
