At the end of 2019, a new coronavirus disease, COVID-19, emerged and quickly spread around the world. Severe acute respiratory syndrome Coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2), the causative virus of this disease, belongs to the β-coronavirus family, together with SARS and middle east respiratory syndrome, and has similar biological characteristics to these viruses. ⋯ Even so, carriers might transmit SARS-CoV-2 to pregnant women. Thus, we must keep in mind that all medical personnel must understand and maintain standard precautions in their clinical and laboratory practices.

Feasibility and outcomes of fetoscopic endoluminal tracheal occlusion for severe congenital diaphragmatic hernia: A Japanese experience.
To present the feasibility, safety and outcomes of fetoscopic endoluminal tracheal occlusion (FETO) for the treatment of severe congenital diaphragmatic hernia (CDH). ⋯ The FETO is feasible without maternal morbidity in Japan and could be offered to women whose fetuses show severe isolated left-sided CDH to accelerate fetal lung growth.

Case ReportsPrimary malignant melanoma of the uterine cervix or vagina which were successfully treated with nivolumab.
Primary malignant melanomas (MM) originating from the gynecological tract are rare. They respond poorly to immunotherapy when compared with cutaneous MM. This study reports two cases. ⋯ The patient was diagnosed as having stage IV vaginal melanoma according to the American Joint Committee on Cancer definition. Both patients received nivolumab therapy, programmed cell death receptor 1 monoclonal antibodies, and the tumors almost disappeared. These cases may add the possibility of using colposcopy with narrow-band imaging and positron-emission tomography to diagnose and evaluate primary MM.

Case ReportsPrenatally diagnosed congenital hemangioma with elevated middle cerebral artery peak systolic velocity mimicking the Kasabach-Merritt phenomenon: A case report.
Congenital hemangioma is a rare vascular tumor that develops prenatally, and a large congenital hemangioma may be accompanied by the Kasabach-Merritt phenomenon. We present a case of prenatally diagnosed fetal congenital hemangioma through ultrasound and maternal anti-Jr(a) antibody alloimmunization with elevated middle cerebral artery peak systolic velocity. ⋯ After birth, congenital hemangioma was found on the infant's left thigh, and Kasabach-Merritt phenomenon was not shown. Percutaneous umbilical blood sampling could provide precise information prenatally in case of congenital hemangioma with maternal alloimmunization.

Randomized Controlled TrialDexmedetomidine versus sufentanil with high- or low-concentration ropivacaine for labor epidural analgesia: A randomized trial.
To study analgesic effects of dexmedetomidine or sufentanil, both combined with ropivacaine, in epidural analgesia during labor. ⋯ A relatively low concentration of ropivacaine, combined with dexmedetomidine, is better in analgesia during labor.
