Meta AnalysisSystematic review and meta-analysis for the value of thyroid disorder screening in men with ejaculatory dysfunction.
To demonstrate evidence from available clinical studies to clarify the scientific points that have been achieved in relation to thyroid disorders and ejaculatory dysfunction (EjD). ⋯ The causal relationship between EjD and thyroid disorders remains to be clarified. Sufferers of delayed ejaculation acquired PE subjects, and PE sufferers who have accompanying erectile dysfunction and/or anxiety may benefit from thyroid disorder investigation.

Meta AnalysisSpirulina Supplementation as an Adjuvant Therapy in Enhancement of Antioxidant Capacity: A Systematic Review and Meta-Analysis of Controlled Clinical Trials.
Spirulina, a type of blue-green algae, is used as an adjuvant treatment of metabolic and inflammatory diseases. Evidence about the effects of spirulina on antioxidant system are conflicting. Thus, this quantitative review aimed to summarise the effects of spirulina administration on antioxidant status biomarkers. ⋯ Spirulina consumption may exert beneficial effects on enhancement of antioxidant system. A marginal significant increasing effect on TAC and SOD activity were found by spirulina administration. However, it did not affect GPx activity.

Randomized Controlled TrialComparison of the analgesic effects of two quadratus lumborum blocks (QLBs), QLB type II vs. QLB type III, in Cesarean Delivery: A randomised study.
Quadratus lumborum blocks (QLBs) are relatively novel regional anaesthesia techniques, and the efficacy of all three types of QLB for postoperative analgesia in caesarean delivery (CD) has been demonstrated in separate studies. The aim of the present study is to compare the analgesic efficacy of the QLB-II and QLB-III blocks performed at the end of surgery in patients undergoing spinal anaesthesia for CD. ⋯ The analgesic efficacy of QLB-III was superior to QLB-II in patients who had undergone CD under spinal anaesthesia without use of intrathecal opioids and nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs.

Multicenter StudyEvaluation of testing and vaccination status of healthcare workers in turkey for hepatitis a: A multicenter study.
This study aimed to investigate the prevalence of the disease and testing and vaccination status of healthcare workers in terms of hepatitis A infection as well as their awareness. This study is a multicenter descriptive study performed with healthcare workers. ⋯ Vaccination of seronegative individuals is the safest way for hepatitis A, which can progress to fulminant hepatitis at advanced ages. It must be aimed primarily to increase the awareness of healthcare professionals and to increase the vaccination rates for hepatitis B and hepatitis A for the prevention of viral hepatitis. In our study, the awareness level was found to be above 50%, and the vaccination level was 35%, which is a rate that must be increased.

Meta AnalysisImpact of Chronic Kidney Disease on Atrial Fibrillation Recurrence Following Radiofrequency and Cryoballoon Ablation: A Meta-Analysis.
In observational studies, patients with chronic kidney disease (CKD) exhibited a controversial risk of atrial fibrillation (AF) recurrence following radiofrequency (RF) or cryoballoon ablation compared with non-CKD patients. This meta-analysis analysed the impact of CKD on AF recurrence following ablation. ⋯ CKD population had worse outcomes in terms of AF recurrence following RF or cryoballoon ablation.
