Community Pharmacists' Needs, Education, & Readiness in Facing COVID-19: Actions & Recommendations in Egypt.
Coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) outbreak is considered one of the most important public health crises all over the world and in Egypt. Community pharmacists represent the third largest health care professional group after physicians and nurses. Community pharmacists are expected to be fully prepared at the frontline of defending their community needs by limiting the spread of COVID-19 via different pharmaceutical care services. ⋯ The study revealed the dependence of community pharmacists on social media as the main source of information and the lack of early awareness of evidence-based practice resources. Community pharmacists were in need of more initial support to achieve better satisfaction, patient counselling and infection control. Corrective measures were promptly undertaken to support and satisfy the Egyptian community pharmacists' initial awareness and readiness facing COVID-19.

Hypercholesterolemic patients have higher eryptosis and erythrocyte adhesion to human endothelium independently of statin therapy.
Phosphatidylserine (PS) externalization out of the membrane facilitates the eryptotic erythrocytes (EE) binding to endothelial cells (EC), potentially leading to atherosclerosis. Thus, the levels of eryptosis and interactions of EE-EC in hypercholesterolemic patients, either non-medicated or medicated, compared with healthy subjects were studied. ⋯ The link between hypercholesterolemia and eryptosis suggests a possible detrimental impact of this binomial on endothelial function with possible further development of atherosclerosis and microcirculation problems in hypercholesterolemic patients, independently of statin therapy.

Evaluation of Inter-professional Education (IPE) with medical, nursing and pharmacy students through a simulated IPL Educational Intervention.
Inter-Professional Education (IPE) is becoming an integral part of many professional programmes throughout the United Kingdom, ensuring health professionals are competent to work as part of an inter-professional team upon entry into their profession. IPE has become a fundamental component of curriculum content in health and social care degrees. ⋯ Initial questionnaire feedback was predominantly positive for each professional group. The majority perceived the simulated IPL had given them a greater understanding of other professionals' roles, had enhanced their professional confidence and would help them prioritise workload once qualified. The 6-months follow-up questionnaire supported the initial questionnaire findings. Some responses highlighted that participants believed the simulated IPL had helped them work more effectively with other healthcare professionals, communicate more effectively and better prioritise their workload. There may be some evidence of sustained self-reported effectiveness in teaching certain professional and clinical skills to participants using this type of simulated intervention.

Musculoskeletal Symptoms and Related Factors in Post Acute COVID-19 Patients.
There is a lack of an overview of the factors associated with postacute COVID-19 musculoskeletal symptoms. The aims of this study were as follows: 1- to evaluate the most frequent admission symptoms and the frequency of musculoskeletal symptoms in postacute COVID-19 patients; and 2- to determine the related factors with the postacute COVID-19 musculoskeletal symptoms. ⋯ Back pain was the most frequent symptom on admission. The most common postacute COVID-19 musculoskeletal symptoms were fatigue, spine pain and myalgia. Lower lymphocyte and higher d-dimer levels, the presence of COVID-19 findings in tomography and back pain during acute COVID-19 infection, higher duration of hospital stay and having chronic diseases were related to post-COVID-19 musculoskeletal symptoms.

Comparison of the Clinical and Radiological manifestations of Male Patients with COVID-19 from different Ethnicities.
The coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) outbreak began in Wuhan, China, and quickly escalated into a significant pandemic threat. COVID-19 is associated with variable morbidity and mortality rates, which differ greatly from one country to another. This study aimed to investigate the clinical findings of SARS-CoV-2 infection in different ethnic groups, as well as to identify the radiological manifestations and various biomarkers for the assessment of COVID-19 patients. ⋯ There were great variations in clinical, radiological and even laboratory findings among different ethnic groups of COVID-19 patients.
