Prognostic Prediction Using the Clinical Data and Ultrasomics-Based Model in Acute Respiratory Distress Syndrome (ARDS) Combined with Acute Kidney Injury (AKI).
A model was constructed based on clinical and ultrasomics features to predict the prognosis of patients in the respiratory intensive unit (RICU) who had acute respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS) combined with acute kidney injury (AKI). AKI ensues after ARDS in RICU ordinarily. The prognostic prediction tool was further developed on this basis. ⋯ The prognosis of ARDS patients combined with AKI is usually poor. The combination model based on clinical and ultrasomics features had the highest predictive performance. This model can be used to improve the clinical outcome and prognosis.

Behaviors of Water Intake, Hydration Status, and Related Hydration Biomarkers among Physically Active Male Young Adults in Beijing, China: A Cross-Sectional Study.
Studies on the water intake of athletes in daily life are insufficient. The objective was to determine the water intake and hydration status among physically active male young adults. In this cross-sectional studies study, 111 physically active male young adults were recruited. ⋯ Insufficient water intake and hypohydration were common among physically active male young adults. The amount and type of water intake were correlated with hydration status and urine biomarkers. The results could provide scientific and accurate references for the development of recommendations on water intake for athletes.

Medial Epicondyle Fracture in Children and Its Association with Increased Carrying Angle.
This study aimed to evaluate the injury mechanism of medial epicondylar fractures in children and adolescents and its association with increased carrying angle (CA) as a predisposing factor. ⋯ Falling onto an outstretched hand is the most common injury mechanism in patients with medial epicondylar fractures, and these fractures are associated with an increased CA.

Observational StudyIntestinal Ultrasonography as a Tool for Monitoring Disease Activity in Patients with Ulcerative Colitis.
Ultrasonography is a noninvasive, inexpensive, and widely available diagnostic tool. In the last two decades, the development of ultrasound techniques and equipment has significantly increased the usage of intestine ultrasound (US) in the assessment of the gastrointestinal tract in patients with inflammatory bowel disease (IBD). Although current guidelines suggest routine utilization of US in patients with Crohn's disease, data regarding US usage in ulcerative colitis are still scarce. We aimed to assess the reliability of intestinal ultrasonography in the assessment of disease activity and extension of patients with ulcerative colitis. ⋯ Our results suggest that US is a moderately accurate method for the assessment of disease activity and localization in patients with UC.

Micronutrient Level Is Negatively Correlated with the Neutrophil-Lymphocyte Ratio in Patients with Severe COVID-19.
To explore the potential relationship between NLR and micronutrient deficiency in patients with severe COVID-19 infection. ⋯ The micronutrient deficiency in the blood is associated with NLR in the severity of COVID-19 patients.
