To explore the features and diagnostic value of computed tomography (CT) imaging in cases of thymic cysts. ⋯ The CT values of the thymic cysts in the enhanced scans were generally lower than in the noncontrast enhanced scans, which might be a valuable finding for thymic cysts diagnosis.

The Different Effects of Direct Bilirubin on Portopulmonary Hypertension and Idiopathic Pulmonary Arterial Hypertension.
To observe different roles of direct bilirubin (Dbil) on portopulmonary hypertension (POPH) and idiopathic pulmonary arterial hypertension (IPAH). ⋯ The POPH group had a better hemodynamic profile than IPAH. Dbil was associated oppositely with the elevation of PVR in POPH and IPAH. Patients with POPH had better survival than those with IPAH in the total cohort and in the group of Dbil ≥7 μmol/L, but limited dead cases of POPH should be noted.

Clinical and Imaging Data-Based Model for Predicting Reversible Posterior Leukoencephalopathy Syndrome (RPLS) in Pregnant Women With Severe Preeclampsia or Eclampsia and Analysis of Perinatal Outcomes.
This study aimed to investigate the risk factors of reversible posterior leukoencephalopathy syndrome (RPLS) in pregnant women with severe preeclampsia or eclampsia (SPE/E) based on a predicting model and to analyze the perinatal outcomes. ⋯ More postpartum complications were detected in pregnant women with severe preeclampsia or eclampsia complicated with RPLS. Hypertensive emergency, headache, WBC, PLT, ALT, and BAAFV were the important risk factors for RPLS. The combined model had a better effect in predicting RPLS.

The Impact of Lesion Complexity and the CHA2DS2-VASc Score on Spontaneous Reperfusion in Patients with ST-Segment Elevation Myocardial Infarction.
In patients with ST-segment elevation myocardial infarction (STEMI) undergoing primary percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI), a patent infarct-related artery (IRA) on initial angiography is defined as spontaneous reperfusion (SR). ⋯ Our study demonstrated that lesion complexity and the CHA2DS2-VASc score are independently associated with spontaneous reperfusion.

Observational StudyTime Trends and Treatment Pathways in Prescribing Individual Oral Anticoagulants in Patients with Nonvalvular Atrial Fibrillation: An Observational Study of More than Three Million Patients from Europe and the United States.
Data directly comparing trends in the use of different oral anticoagulants (OACs) among patients with atrial fibrillation (AF) from different countries are limited. We addressed this using a large-scale network cohort study in the United States (US), Belgium, France, Germany, and the United Kingdom (UK). ⋯ From 2010 to 2017, VKA use had significantly declined and DOAC use had significantly increased in the US and Europe. Apixaban was the most prescribed OAC in 2017, followed by rivaroxaban.
