Observational StudyEpidemiological Trends and Attributable Risk Burden of Cervical Cancer: An Observational Study from 1990 to 2019.
Cervical cancer, especially in underdeveloped areas, poses a great threat to human health. In view of this, we stratified the age and social demographic index (SDI) based on the epidemiological development trend and attributable risk of cervical cancer in countries and regions around the world. ⋯ In the past three decades, the increase in the global burden of cervical cancer is mainly concentrated in underdeveloped regions (concentrated in low SDI). On the contrary, in countries with high sustainable development index, the burden of cervical cancer tends to be reduced. Alarmingly, ASIR in areas with low SDI is on the rise, which suggests that policy makers should pay attention to the allocation of public health resources and focus on the prevention and treatment of cervical cancer in underdeveloped areas, so as to reduce its incidence rate, mortality, and prognosis.

Examination of New Electrocardiographic Repolarization Markers in Diabetic Patients with Noncritical Coronary Artery Disease.
Diabetes mellitus (DM) is a multisystemic, chronic disease that affects many organs. Coronary artery disease (CAD) is the leading cause of death in patients with DM. The electrocardiogram's new ventricular repolarization parameters can predict mortality and morbidity. The ventricular repolarization indices were examined in diabetic patients with a CAD diagnosis in this study. ⋯ In this study, ventricular repolarization markers on the surface ECG were found to be elevated in diabetic CAD patients. These variables may be related to fatal arrhythmic events. To be sure, large-scale, randomized controlled trials are required.

Therapeutic Efficacy of Great Plantain (Plantago major L.) in the Treatment of Second-Degree Burn Wounds: A Case-Control Study.
Great plantain (Plantago major L. or P.major) is a medicinal plant that is available all around the world. The whole plant has several bioactive compounds including terpenoids, flavonoids, phenolic compounds, alkaloids, fatty acids, iridoid glycosides, polysaccharides, and vitamins. Scientific studies have recognized several medical benefits like wound healing, anti-inflammatory, antimicrobial, antiulcerative, and antioxidative agents. The wound-healing capacity of this plant has been investigated under in vivo and ex vivo conditions. In the current study, we aim to compare the therapeutic effect of the P.major extract with 1% sulfadiazine on the healing of second-degree burn wounds. ⋯ We showed that P.major ointment is a safe and suitable herbal compound in the treatment of second-degree burn wounds that not only has wound-healing properties but also is an analgesic and antimicrobial compound.

CT-Based Predictor for the Success of 12/14-Fr Ureteral Access Sheath Placement.
Ureteral access sheaths (UAS) are widely used in retrograde intrarenal surgery (RIRS), and this study aimed to develop a model for predicting the success of UAS placement based on computed tomography. ⋯ Our study provides a nomogram for predicting the success of UAS placement, and this model could help discriminate patients who are likely to suffer from failed UAS insertion; preoperative ureteral stenting is recommended according to the prediction.

Association between Stigma and Pain in Patients with Temporomandibular Disorders.
This study aims to explore the association between stigma and pain in patients with temporomandibular disorders (TMDs). ⋯ Stigma, specifically enacted stigma, was correlated to pain in patients with TMDs. Stigma was more related to psychological problems than jaw functional limitation.
