Review Meta Analysis Comparative Study
Meta-analysis of single-port versus conventional laparoscopic cholecystectomy comparing body image and cosmesis.
The purpose of this study was to evaluate improvements in cosmetic results and postoperative morbidity for single-incision laparoscopic cholecystectomy (SILC) in comparison with multiport laparoscopic cholecystectomy (MLC). ⋯ SILC is associated with better outcomes in terms of cosmesis, body image and postoperative pain. The risk of incisional hernia is four times higher after SILC than after MLC.

Randomized Controlled Trial Multicenter Study Comparative Study
Randomized clinical trial of percutaneous tibial nerve stimulation versus sham electrical stimulation in patients with faecal incontinence.
The aim was to assess the effects of percutaneous tibial nerve stimulation (PTNS) in the treatment of faecal incontinence (FI) by means of an RCT. ⋯ PTNS may offer a small advantage in the clinical management of FI that is insufficiently responsive to conservative treatment. The key challenge will be to identify patients who may benefit most from this minimally invasive surgical procedure. Registration number: NCT00974909 (http://www.clinicaltrials.gov).

Comparative Study
Evaluation of the peritoneal carcinomatosis index with CT and MRI.
The aim was to determine the incremental value of MRI compared with CT in the preoperative estimation of the peritoneal carcinomatosis index (PCI). ⋯ The combination of CT and MRI improved the preoperative estimation of PCI compared with CT alone.
