Aneurysm of the ulnar artery is a distinct entity among the acrosyndromes of the forearm for at least four reasons. It can be considered as an occupational disease requiring legal declarations leading to indemnities and the cardiologist should be aware of the administrative procedures. ⋯ Actually, cases resulting from trauma provide a situation of experimental pathology; studying the haemodynamics involved has advanced our knowledge of Raynaud's disease. Traumatic aneurysms can be cured, not simply by occupational rehabilitation but also, in certain cases, by vascular repair surgery with removal of the aneurysm and recovery of arterial blood flow through a venous graft.
