Case ReportsHysteroscopic management of heterotopic cesarean scar pregnancy.
To report a cesarean scar pregnancy (CSP) with a coexistent viable intrauterine pregnancy. ⋯ With the increasing number of IVF-embryo transfers, the amount of heterotopic pregnancies is also increasing. Hysteroscopic management of CSP is a minimally invasive procedure that leads to successful obstetric outcomes in the corresponding intrauterine pregnancies.

Efficacy of a novel educational curriculum using a simulation laboratory on resident performance of hysteroscopic sterilization.
To assess whether a novel educational curriculum using a simulation teaching laboratory improves resident knowledge, comfort with, and surgical performance of hysteroscopic sterilization. ⋯ Simulation laboratory teaching significantly improved resident knowledge, comfort level, and technical skill performance of hysteroscopic sterilization.

Case ReportsSeptic shock due to Klebsiella pneumoniae after medical abortion with misoprostol-only regimen.
To report a case of a healthy woman who was admitted to the hospital with septic shock caused by a common uropathogen after self-administration of misoprostol for pregnancy termination. ⋯ Severe infections leading to septic shock from common pathogen bacteria can occur after medical termination of pregnancy, independently of the regimen used.

Randomized Controlled Trial Comparative StudyA prospective, randomized, controlled trial comparing three different gonadotropin regimens in oocyte donors: ovarian response, in vitro fertilization outcome, and analysis of cost minimization.
To compare the efficacy of three different gonadotropin regimens in an oocyte donation program. The analysis of cost minimization also was evaluated. ⋯ This study suggests that in the GnRH agonist protocol the three different gonadotropin regimens evaluated herein are equally effective. Protocols using HP-hMG would appear to be the best in terms of cost-effectiveness in an oocyte donation program.

Ovarian reserve in women who remain premenopausal after chemotherapy for early stage breast cancer.
To compare markers of ovarian reserve between women exposed to cytotoxic chemotherapy for early stage breast cancer and matched controls. ⋯ Premenopausal breast cancer survivors have diminished ovarian reserve compared with controls.
