To compare clomiphene citrate (CC) and letrozole used for superovulation before intrauterine insemination (IUI) in unexplained infertility. ⋯ This study found no superiority between letrozole and CC for inducing ovulation in women with unexplained infertility before IUI.

Case ReportsOvarian torsion in in vitro fertilization-induced twin pregnancy: combination of Doppler ultrasound and laparoscopy in diagnosis and treatment can quickly solve the case.
To diagnose and treat adnexal torsion in pregnancy. ⋯ Considering the increased number of IVF pregnancies, an ovarian torsion should be less uncommon than in the past. Doppler ultrasound should be considered as a first-line exam. The complete absence of vascular flow in the ovary may be an indication for adnexectomy. An ovarian torsion in pregnancy should be treated laparoscopically.

To describe laparoscopically assisted hysteroscopy as a unique surgical intervention for a cesarean section scar ectopic pregnancy. ⋯ Conservative laparoscopically assisted operative hysteroscopy can be used successfully in hemodynamically stable patients with a cesarean section scar ectopic pregnancy.

To compare the effectiveness of letrozole and clomiphene citrate (CC) in induction of ovulation in polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS). ⋯ Letrozole has better ovulation and PR in comparison to CC in patients with PCOS.

To compare the effects of letrozole (5 mg) and clomiphene citrate (100 mg) for ovulation induction in women with polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS). ⋯ The results of this study did not show any advantage to the use of letrozole over clomiphene citrate as a first-line treatment for induction of ovulation in women with PCOS.
