To assess the diagnostic efficacy of contrast-enhanced digital mammography (CEDM) in breast cancer detection in comparison to synthetic two-dimensional mammography (s2D MG), digital breast tomosynthesis (DBT) alone and DBT supplemented with ultrasound examination in females with dense breast with histopathology as the gold-standard. ⋯ CEDM is a promising novel technology with higher sensitivity and negative predictive value for breast cancer detection in females with dense breast in comparison to DBT alone or DBT supplemented with ultrasound.

This work establishes the prototype of a new innovative risk model that aims to evaluate the total risk involved with screening mammography for each individual female. This has been specifically designed to accommodate any combination of lifetime screening regimes, using only the information gathered from a single mammographic examination. ⋯ Breast-iRRISC is a novel tool that provides females, clinicians and health policymakers around the globe with the ability to quantify the lifetime risk of radiation-induced breast cancer from screening mammography on an individual level from a single exposure.

To identify the value of radiomics method derived from CT images to predict prognosis in patients with COVID-19. ⋯ Radiomics features based on chest CT images help clinicians to categorize the patients of COVID-19 into different stages. Radiomics nomogram based on CT images has favorable predictive performance in the prognosis of COVID-19. Radiomics act as a potential modality to supplement conventional medical examinations.

An outbreak of corona virus disease 2019 (COVID-19) began in China in December 2019, and rapidly spread to become a worldwide pandemic. Neurological complications encountered in hospitalized patients include acute arterial ischemic cerebrovascular stroke, cerebral venous thrombosis, critical illness-associated cerebral microbleeds, hypertensive hemorrhagic posterior reversible encephalopathy, meningoencephalitis/flare up of infections, flare up of multiple sclerosis, acute disseminated encephalomyelitis, cerebral hemodynamic/hypoxic changes such as watershed ischemic changes and hypoxic ischemic encephalopathy, and spine manifestations of Guillain Barre syndrome and viral myelitis. The purpose of our study is to illustrate the different neuroimaging features in critically ill hospitalized COVID-19 positive patients in the State of Qatar.
