Preventive Effects of Qingfei Yihuo Capsules () on Air Pollution Associated Exacerbation of Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease: A Single-blind, Randomized, Controlled Trial.
To investigate the efficacy of Qingfei Yihuo Capsules (, QYCs) in preventing the air pollution associated exacerbation of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). ⋯ For patients with Group D COPD, oral QYCs in high-incidence season of air pollution can effectively mitigate respiratory symptoms associated with air pollution, although there was no evidence that it had a significant reductive effect on AEs. (Registered at Chinese Clinical Trial Registry, registration No. ChiCTR-IOR-17013827).

CO2 Laser Moxibustion for Knee Osteoarthritis: Study Protocol for A Multicenter, Double-blind, Randomized Controlled Trial.
Knee osteoarthritis (OA) is a major cause of disability among the older adults. Few treatments are safe and effective. Moxibustion is commonly used in treating knee OA in Chinese medicine (CM). CO2 Laser moxibustion device is a substitute for traditional moxibustion, which mimics the effects of traditional moxibustion. More data are needed to support its application in knee OA. ⋯ CO2 laser moxibustion device, designed as a substitute for CM moxibustion, is easy to use and control with no choking smoke and smell, and is a plausible method for double-blind research. This study would provide rigorous evidence for the effect and safety of CO2 laser moxibustion in treating knee OA (Trial registration No.: ISRCTN15030019).

Acupoint Catgut Embedding Alleviates Insomnia in Different Chinese Medicine Syndrome Types: A Randomized Controlled Trial.
To investigate the effects and safety of catgut embedding on alleviating insomnia. ⋯ Acupoint catgut embedding and acupuncture were more effective than medication in alleviating insomnia syndrome in different Chinese medicine syndrome type. However, the sustained effects of acupoint catgut embedding were superior to acupuncture.

Dalitong granule combined with electroacupuncture in the treatment of functional dyspepsia: A randomized controlled trial.
To explore clinical short and long-term effect of combining dalitong granule (DG) and electroacupuncture group (EA) in the treatment of functional dyspepsia. ⋯ Combined treatment of DG and EA could increase both plasma motilin and electrogastrographic frequencies, promote gastric emptying, alleviate the symptom of dyspepsia so as to increase quality of life, with better safety and long-term effect.
