Effect and safety of acupotomy in treatment of knee osteoarthritis: a systematic review and Meta-analysis.
To evaluate the clinical efficacy and safety of acupotomy in treatment of knee osteoarthritis (OA). ⋯ Acupotomy is a safe and effective treatment for KOA. However, due to the methodological deficiency of the included studies, well-designed randomized controlled trials are required to further confirm the findings.

To research the Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) practice of Professor Xu Runsan for treatment of chronic pelvic pain (CPP) caused by sequelae of pelvic inflammatory disease (SPID) by data mining. ⋯ According to the TCM practice of Professor Xu, treatment of CPP caused by SPID should focus on dissolving stasis and obstructionsusing medicines that can activate blood, resolve stasis, regulate Qi, and dissipate adhesions. His prescriptions are often based on Guizhi Fuling Pill and Sini Powder. More blood-activating, stasis-resolving, or tonifying medicines could be used according to the accompanying symptoms or symptom patterns identified.

To use a Meta-analysis to review the efficacy and safety of Gualoupi (Pericarpium Trichosanthis) injection (PTI) in the treatment of angina pectoris. ⋯ PTI was found to be effective and safe for the treatment of angina pectoris. This study had certain limitations; thus, more rigorously designed, multi-center, randomized controlled trials in larger populations should be performed to support this observation.

To conduct a review of the systematic reviews and meta-analyses on the Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) treatment of type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM). ⋯ This work shows favorable evidence for the clinical treatment of TCM on T2DM. However, it is recommended that evidence-based decisions are made based on clinical trials because of the GRADE scores of the studies. To achieve higher quality of clinical research, clinical research on TCM requires specific and suitable research methods. Further trials may increase the quality of evidence to evaluate the clinical efficacy of TCM for T2DM.
