To observe the effects of Bushenwenyanghuayu decoction (BD), a Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), on the serum concentration of nerve growth factor (NGF) and bradykinin (BK), and protein and mRNA levels of NGF and bradykinin B1 receptor (BKB1R) in a mouse model of endometriosis dysmenorrhea. ⋯ NGF and BK/BKB1R may play an important role in the development of endometriosis-associated dysmenorrhea, and BD was found to inhibit the development of endometriosis and relieve dysmenorrhea by influencing NGF and BK/ BKB1R mRNA and protein levels.

Xinfeng capsule improves pulmonary function in ankylosing spondylitis patients via NF-ΚB-iNOS-NO signaling pathway.
To study changes in the nuclear factor-κB p65 (NF-κB p65)-inducible nitric oxide synthase (iNOS)-nitric oxide (NO) signaling pathway and the effects of Xinfeng capsules (XFC) in patients with ankylosing spondylitis (AS). ⋯ Patients with AS have local pathologic changes in the spinal cord and other joints. They also have decreased pulmonary function, which is negatively correlated with the NF-κB-iNOS-NO signaling pathway, oxidative indexes, and inflammatory factors. XFC improves rigidity and pain in spinal joints and other symptoms, laboratory indexes, and pulmonary function. The mechanism is possibly related to inhibition of the NF-KB-iNOS-NO signaling pathway.

Traditional Chinese medicine for the treatment of influenza: a systematic review and meta-analysis of randomized controlled trials.
To justify the clinical use of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) in the treatment of influenza. ⋯ TCM has potential positive effects in the treatment of influenza.

Effect of banxiaxiexin tang on treatment of functional dyspepsia: a meta-analysis of randomized controlled trials.
To evaluate the efficacy of Banxiaxiexin Tang compared with Western Medicine in the treatment of functional dyspepsia (FD) through Meta-analysis. ⋯ Banxiaxiexin Tang was more effective than Western Medicine in treating FD.

Qingkailing injection for the treatment of acute stroke: a systematic review and meta-analysis.
To evaluate systematically the clinical efficacy and safety of Qingkailing (QKL) injection in the treatment of acute stroke. ⋯ Based on this systematic review, QKL combined with conventional therapy was effective compared with control treatment. However, because the articles used in the study were not of high quality, further studies should be conducted into the efficacy and safety of QKL in treating acute stroke.
