To compare magnetic resonance (MR) short T1 inversion recovery (STIR) sequence with MR T2-weighted (T2W) sequence for detecting increased signal intensity (ISI) and assessing outcomes of ISI in cervical spondylotic myelopathy (CSM). ⋯ The STIR sequence demonstrated superior capability to the T2W sequence in detecting ISI; however, there was no obvious difference in predicted outcomes. STIR sequence has a better prognostic value than T2W sequence in patients with diabetes who have CSM. ISI grading based on the STIR sequence may be a clinically valuable indicator.

Anaplastic oligodendroglioma (AOD) is a rare high-grade central nervous system tumor. The current research on prognostic prediction of AOD remains limited. This study aimed to identify prognostic factors and establish the nomograms to predict overall survival (OS) and cancer-specific survival (CSS) for patients with AOD. ⋯ We successfully established the nomograms to predict the OS and CSS for AOD patients. The nomograms showed good performance in prognostic prediction, assisting clinicians in evaluating patient prognosis and personalizing treatment plans.

To identify high-risk patients for delayed postoperative hyponatremia (DPH) early, we constructed a simple and effective scoring system. ⋯ This scoring system for predicting DPH has an area under the receiver operating characteristic curve of 0.856 (95% CI, 0.787-0.925), indicating moderate to good predictive value for DPH in our cohort, but further prospective external validation is needed.

Large-bore aspiration catheters (ACs) are used successfully in mechanical thrombectomy (MT). However, tortuous access routes prevent device navigation because of the ledge effect. The AXS Offset Delivery Assist Catheter is designed to reduce the ledge effect. The purpose of this study was to evaluate whether the Offset affects AC navigation compared with standard inner microcatheters in MT. ⋯ The AXS Offset delivery assist catheter permitted faster and safer navigation of various ACs to the occlusions compared with standard delivery microcatheters in MT.

The Low-Profile Visualized Intraluminal Support (LVIS) device has been frequently used as an intracranial stent for treating intracranial aneurysms. However, the feasibility and efficacy of LVIS devices in Y-stent-assisted coiling (Y-SAC) have remained contentious. This study aimed to evaluate long-term angiographic and clinical outcomes of Y-SAC using LVIS devices. ⋯ Y-SAC using the LVIS device for intracranial bifurcation aneurysms is a feasible and relatively safe procedure with favorable long-term angiographic and clinical outcomes.
