Review Comparative Study[Coagulopathy and thrombosis: similarities and differences among pathogenic coronaviruses].
One of the most significant negative prognostic factors in patients suffering from the disease caused by SARS-CoV-2 (COVID-19) is the development of coagulopathy, associated with abnormal laboratory findings, such as increased D-dimer, and venous thromboembolic complications, requiring thromboprophylactic strategies. The main clinical characteristics of COVID-19 patients are revised here as compared to other coronavirus infections, such as Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome (SARS) and Middle East Respiratory Syndrome (MERS), emphasizing clinical, diagnostic and therapeutic aspects.

[Knowledge and attitudes of intensive care unit nurses regarding pain in patients].
Intensive Care Units (ICU) usually treat patients with pain. Being close to patients makes nurses key professionals for guaranteeing an optimal assessment and treatment of pain, which are crucial to ensure quality care. Therefore this study aims to describe the knowledge and attitudes of ICU nurses about pain management in their clinical practice, and its relationship with socio-demographic data. ⋯ ICU nurses show insufficient knowledge and attitudes towards pain. Having a master's degree improves the results obtained in the questionnaire about knowledge and attitudes towards pain.

Infection caused by SARS-CoV-2 (COVID-19) is associated with an increased risk of thromboembolic disease. So-me authors recommend anticoagulation at therapeutic doses for, at least, the most severely ill patients; this practice is not free of risks, which is why only thromboembolic prophylaxis is recommended by other consensuses. ⋯ We present the cases of two patients admitted due to COVID-19, without serious clinical data, in whom anticoagulation (acenocoumarol and rivaroxaban, respectively) was replaced by LMWH at therapeutic doses, both presenting abdominal bleeding. This type of bleeding is an infrequent complication in anticoagulated patients, but the concurrence of two cases in a short period of time in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic leads us to consider that there is not yet any clear evidence on therapeutic anticoagulation in SARS-CoV-2 infection.

Case Reports[Spontaneuos pneumomediastinum secondary to cannabinoid hyperemesis syndrome].
Cannabinoid hyperemesis syndrome (CHS) is little known amongst clinicians and is characterised by abdominal pain and cyclical vomiting, after intense consumption of cannabis over several years. It does not respond to treatment with antiemetics, but does respond to showers in very hot water. ⋯ He was given topical capsaicin and 5 mg of intravenous haloperidol, and was kept for 48 hours in the in A and E Short Stay Unit. This isolated clinical observation appears to indicate the need to rule out CHS as the cause of PM in young patients and, similarly, to consider the presence of PM in the clinical exploration of young people with CHS and in patients with pathologies whose aetiology might be influenced by an increase in intrathoracic pressure.
