[The perception of liaison psychiatry by the medico-chirurgical services].
Research addressing the perception of liaison psychiatry by caregivers is still limited in Morocco. Collaboration between practitioners in liaison psychiatry is necessary, and the perception of physicians influences their implications in liaison psychiatry. ⋯ Our study showed several difficulties perceived by practitioners, whether in the diagnosis, treatment or follow-up of patients with psychiatric manifestations. Collaboration between different practitioners is an indispensable element of patient management. Improving knowledge through awareness-raising and the organization of scientific days bringing together the different specialties will help to improve doctors' perceptions.

Comparative Study[Prohibition of tobacco sales to minors in France and Quebec. Comparison of legislative frameworks, their enforcement, and underage smoking].
Prohibition of tobacco sales to minors is a provision of the World Health Organization Framework Convention on tobacco control. This measure is effective to reduce youth tobacco use, if the legislation adopted is properly implemented and enforced. Through the examples of France and Quebec, the objective of this study is to compare legislative frameworks prohibiting tobacco sales to minors, their enforcement, and possible impact on underage smoking. ⋯ Only an improved law enforcement, through the training of tobacco retailer's, inspections and effective deterrent penalties for non-compliance, leads to an effective legislative measure in terms of public health.

Deaths in France: Characteristics, place of death, hospitalisations and use of palliative care during the year before death.
Only limited data are available concerning the diseases managed and the hospital pathway before death. The aim of this study was to describe diseases, hospitalisations, and use of palliative care one year before death as well as place of death in France. ⋯ Health administrative data from the SNIIRAM database can refine our knowledge of the care pathway prior to death and of the use of hospital palliative care and can be useful to evaluate the new governmental palliative care plan recently deployed in France.

A retrospective study of complaint letters sent to a Swiss Emergency Department between 2009 and 2014.
Patient complaints are a valuable resource for monitoring and improving patient safety and quality of care. The purpose of this study was to analyze the complaint letters received at a Swiss academic emergency department (ED) over six years. ⋯ Complaint incidence in our ED was low and remained stable over the six-year observation period. Most of the complaints pertained to incidents that entailed negligible or minor consequences. As most complaints were due to inadequate communication, interventions targeting improvement of the doctor/patient communication are required.
