The study was designed to explore how cinobufagin (CB) regulates the development of non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) cells through lipid rafts. ⋯ CB regulates the activity of Akt in lipid rafts by inhibiting caveolin-1 expression to promote NSCLC cell apoptosis.

The study aimed to measure telomeres length (TL) and telomerase expression in normal endometrium and endometrial hyperplasia and cancer. ⋯ Telomere extension in endometrial cancer is mediated by telomerase, but telomere length may not be an indicator of endometrioid cancer development.

Ovarian cancer (OC) is the malignant tumor with the highest mortality among gynecological cancers. Chemotherapy resistance is a major obstacle to OC therapy. Circular RNAs (circRNAs) play crucial roles in cancer development and chemoresistance. However, the role and potential mechanism of has-circ-001567 (circ-VPS13C) in chemoresistance of OC remain unknown. ⋯ Circ-VPS13C knockdown enhanced DDP sensitivity of OC through modulation of autophagy via the miR-106b-5p/YWHAZ axis, providing a new biomarker for improving the efficacy of OC chemotherapy.

Accumulating evidence has proved that long non-coding RNAs (lncRNAs) are involved in progression of glioma. Nevertheless, the role of TUBA4B in glioma remains unclear. ⋯ This study revealed for the first time that TUBA4B could be a tumor suppressor gene in glioma by adjustment of the TUBA4B/miR-183/SMAD4 axis, which may provide a useful prognostic biomarker and promising therapeutic target for glioma treatment.
