This survey was aimed to obtain the characteristics of physicians operating in mass vaccination sites (MVS), emphasizing their motivation to work there. ⋯ The financial aspect was the most important motivational factor among residents, while moral responsibility was decisive for the attending physicians. Physicians, who participated in MVS as a work duty presented both the most prevalent self-perceived burnout syndrome (32 %) and the hesitancy (48 %) to work in MVS again in the future (Tab. 4, Ref. 15) Keywords: mass vaccination site, COVID-19; healthcare workers, vaccination, SARS-CoV-2, coronavirus.

Case Reports
A rare case of acute acalculous cholecystitis secondary to hantavirus infection with renal syndrome.
Hantaviruses are single-stranded RNA viruses. They are transmitted to humans by rodents and insectivore hosts. Some Hantavirus subtypes are the causative agents of haemorrhagic fever with renal syndrome (HFRS), which is characterized by fever, thrombocytopenia, and acute kidney injury. ⋯ The patient's condition and clinical findings improved after supportive treatment. Hantavirus infection should be considered in patients with acute kidney injury, cholecystitis and thrombocytopenia (Fig. 2, Ref. 10). Keywords: Hantavirus, acute kidney injury, acalculous cholecystitis, thrombocytopeni.

Enterococcus species account for most of the human enterococcal HAI and multidrug-resistant infections and have become a major threat to modern public health. We examine the rise in the number of vancomycin resistant E. faecium blood stream and urinary tract infections in a COVID-19 department during an epidemiologic outbreak investigation to detect and eliminate nosocomial clusters of the bacteria. ⋯ This study provides the first description of an outbreak caused by vanB-ST117 and vanA-ST17 E. faecium strains among COVID-19 patients in Slovakia. This study can help to raise the awareness about the need for strict adherence to infection control measures and the implementation of rational antimicrobial stewardship as a routine part of COVID-19 management (Tab. 3, Fig. 3, Ref. 27). Adipose tissue is involved in the synthesis of hormones that have an impact on food intake regulation, control of insulin sensitivity or regulation of inflammatory processes. The aim of this study was to determine the importance of adipocytokines and interleukins levels for the development of post-transplant diabetes mellitus (PTDM) after kidney transplantation (KT). ⋯ We confirmed that elevated leptin level 12 months after KT is associated with the development of PTDM (Tab. 3, Fig. 4, Ref. 22). Text in PDF www.elis.sk Keywords: adipocytokines, interleukins, post-transplant diabetes mellitus, kidney transplantation, leptin.

This study was aimed to investigate the relationship of miR-17-5p, miR-30b, miR-30d, miR-216a and miR-216b associated with autophagy gene beclin 1, and beclin 1 gene with colorectal cancer (CRC). ⋯ The beclin 1 gene may play a role as a tumor suppressor in CRC. Moreover, these miRNAs cannot be used as highly reliable biomarkers in serum for CRC diagnosis (Tab. 2, Fig. 6, Ref. 46).
