Factors that Influence Mammography Use for Breast Cancer Screening among African American Women.
The purpose of this study was to assess factors that influence use of mammography screening among African American women, with a focus on social and cultural influences using Andersen's behavioral model (ABM), and to assess the methodological quality of the included studies. ⋯ Financial and cultural issues were important hindrances to breast cancer screening in African American women. These findings highlight the importance of affordable health care for preventive health services as well as the relevance of culturally embedded issues to health, while the MQS accentuates the need for more rigorous research articles. Breast cancer screening interventions in this population should attend to barriers identified in this review.

HPVs Vaccination among Racial/Ethnic Minority College Students: Current Status and Future Direction.
College is an important period for catch-up vaccination for Human Papillomaviruses (HPVs), but HPVs vaccination rates are low among college students. Given that racial/ethnic minorities are disproportionately affected by HPVs-related cancers, the aim of the present study is to conduct a scoping review about HPVs and HPVs vaccination conducted among racial/ethnic minority college students. Specifically, we examined: 1) the prevalence of HPVs vaccination among racial/ethnic minority college students in the US and 2) the correlates of HPVs vaccination or vaccination intention/interest. ⋯ Significant racial/ethnic disparities in HPVs vaccination exist among both college men and women. Interventions to increase vaccine awareness, access, and uptake among racial/ethnic minority college students are lacking and warranted. Interventions targeting only knowledge and/or intention might not be sufficient. Theory-based studies that examine unique factors involved in vaccine uptake during college across multiple levels of influence including psychosocial, provider, health care, and culture are needed.

Aberrant Expression of Gastric Carcinoma High Expressed Transcript 1 is a Diagnostic and Prognostic Biomarker in Human Cancer.
Gastric carcinoma high expressed transcript 1 (GHET1), a long noncoding RNA (LncRNA), has been reported to be involved in tumor genesis and cancer progression. High GHET1 expression is correlated with a poor prognosis in cancer. In this meta-analysis, we investigated the association between GHET1 and lymph node metastasis, differentiation, vascular invasion and so on in human cancer. ⋯ GHET1 may serve as a potential clinical biomarker and poor survival and high-risk recurrence in cancers.
